by the way, the "boosted luck" things on the bottom of the screen dont work for appraisal. high weight, shiny luck and sparkling luck. you need either shiny surge (shiny) or night of the luminous (sparkling) if you want boosted luck for appraising. i dont think theres one for size and i also dont think you can get it from sundial totems but i could be wrong about the totem thing

While everyone was trying to catch whale sharks with shrimp, I was always the one who caught it because I didn’t use bait. I think using bait heightens the chances of luring every other fish in the area, which MAY lower the chances of catching the fish who “prefers” the bait. Just don’t use bait and you’ll end up getting more Nessies.
