- Tried multiple gearings and tire combos. Last outing shredded a 19 tooth Tekno pinion so gone back to the hardened steel Traxxas pinion 20 tooth with the 50 tooth hardened spur also from Traxxas. You need to leave the loctite for a minimum of 24 hours on the pinion. Running the stock tires this is the best this truck has ever felt. Running all stock electrics.

This is probably the best rip of this POS i have seen on UA-cam. You increased the handling, which is what i didn't like about mine, and the destroyed gears too. Great job making the most out of this RC, because it left a bad taste in my mouth.
This area and surface and its little jumps are a good showcase for it. I’ve really enjoyed driving it and trying to find a good combination of gears and set up.

8s!!! How fast does this go? BC I have a 2847-4000kv motor 45amp ESC with a 3s 3000mah 80c and we got that bad boy at 58mph! its a 1/14 scale.
As they get bigger and heavier it’s hard to get the speed. But I’d imagine this one goes high 40s maybe 50mph at a push. I barely use full throttle in these videos. But it has a LOT of torque!!!
If you want a little more power a Max 6 will fit in, no mods needed
That might be up next! But it’s great like this - possibly wait until the Traxxas Esc goes up in flames 🔥
