- Today we begin our new Bible Study series: Spiritual Warfare. We'll be in Ephesians 6:10-13 today, and we'll be floating around Ephesians 6 for the majority of this series. We'll be discussing what spiritual warfare looks like, how we engage in it, and how we prepare for it. It's gonna be fun!

I appreciate you diving into this particular subject as I believe a lot of people overlook the spiritual warfare that happens among us. I remember a documentary about a demon possessed house where several officials including police, medical, and CPS had witnessed several supernatural sightings in this house that had tormented this family. It really opened my eyes to just how dangerous demons can really be to those who are not strong in the Lord.

Kinda scary, that no matter what you do sin is so powerful that we are told to run from it and not fight back. That’s how powerful sin is.
Sin is powerful because it's a natural part of ourselves. Fighting and running are actually both wrong approaches to dealing with it. Like all things in life sin should be kept in line. It is not easy but that is the proper approach in handling it.
Orthodox Christian here. This is false, the Lord told us to flee only from bodily lust for that is one sin that cannot be fought. Other than that we are to fight all other sins, struggle against them and push through when we fall. As many saints taught, heaven is achieved through violence ! That of course doesnt mean physical violence, but violence towards your passions, when you feel one approaching or if you know you are under attack violently seek to escape or avoid it, God bless my brothers !
