Nice trip Ray and Anne. BC summer is pretty good.
Really enjoy your beautiful presentations. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I am enjoying this video, Ray. Thanks, captain Anne!
I love your videos of your boating travels in BC!!! I have subscribed for awhile, wish you would show more of the areas you go to in winter. I like videos of equipment, etc... I love videos of the areas you travel in.
I love the beautiful scenery. Amazing! What it the Vestry’s cruising knots and what is top speed? Also what marine navigation program do you use? I have RosePoint
We usually cruise at 1600-1800 RPM about 6-7 knots. It can do 2400 RPM and maybe 9 knots. We have Navionics, Aquamaps, and the OEM Raymarine nav software.
Boy, that's sure a lot of teak to look after. Have you considered paint it to make maintenance easier?
No, the teak is much nicer to look at so Anne has been maintaining it as needed. The boat is covered for 7 months of the year with a good winter cover so should last longer than a fully exposed boat down south.
Do you go ashore, I’m afraid 6 days on the boat would be too much for me.
Yup, we have 11' rigid inflatable tender with a little 6HP motor and oars so we can explore around and easily go to shore and hike, swim in lakes or visit marinas, towns, etc. But 6 days isn't much of a problem for us, as we are used to small living space having lived in the RV for 13 years now. :)
Are you catching any fish? And how much fuel did the boat burn per hour on average?
Caught what looked like flounder and greenling and trapped a few red rock crabs. Boat burns about 1.5 gallons an hour or up to 2 if Anne pushes it with higher RPM
