STEM is nothing new. Back in the 70s it was called STEAM. The “A” for Art, was removed for political appeasement somehow. I still think it belongs, because without art all the other disciplines are missing the point. I still see and think of the missing “A”. YIS⚜
For those new to this program, please know national supply is no longer offering these awards to the scout stores. It is now up to councils to find a supplier and some national patch companies such as class B are now offering these awards which you can order on your own. Pi pins may be hard to find. Just don’t want you to be surprised when going to your store to find out they are out of stock.
@@ScouterStan no problem. Love your series. Our store in Charleston just ran out of the nova patches for cubs last month and supernovas were only ordered by national supply. I’ve also seen class B is out of stock of the nova patches. Each council was given the files to have a locsl business make them. This may alleviate the issue of having to wait from typical national patch supply companies. Good luck to all the leaders in finding them. This is an amazing program .
We are doing some of ours at NASA Houston this weekend. Can’t wait .
The Leatherstocking Council in Upstate NY is having a Nova day on August 19. It's going to be a great day and we're very excited.
