The worst case of tennis elbow I ever had was following having thrown a stick into the sea for our crossbred German Shepherd/collie dog Bob for two hours. Even then, I had to walk about 50 yards away from the water before he was willing to walk home. Could hardly raise my arm for a week or more afterwards. It hurts like hell. Even had it after playing darts, most likely due to a terrible throwing technique. The only cure is to nurse the arm for a good while.
If he has a tennis elbow..play the whole thing left handed. Simple
I think he'd say that way around was less reliable, even with tennis elbow.
It hurts to push the cue through, it hurts to stretch your bridge hand. Changing hands wouldn’t help.
@@Eurobunneh I highly doubt that... it sounds like nonsense, to be quite honest. Pushing the cue through, or more precisely, impacting the ball with the cue, is likely the reason for sustaining such an injury in the first place. Continuing to do so will probably exacerbate the problem.
Stretching your hand to create a bridge might indeed cause some discomfort (I don't know, it might), but it's nothing like striking a ball and should provide some relief to the affected area (without any impacts to contend with).
Therefore, changing hands will likely be helpful if you've decided to continue playing with the injury, but rest is undoubtedly the best option
That is a serious long term condition, Tennis elbow, it cannot be cured quickly. I trust Ronnie is getting some good advice from a suitably experienced therapist.
Cousin Ron will be seeing the best Quack in the business.
Bad news for Ronnie. I had tennis elbow. It was constantly painful and lasted about 2 years. The innocuous name it’s got bares no relation to the seriousness.
I literally just got over a 13 month spell. I'm a painter & decorator so I know how sore it is. Twice I've had a seriously bad time with it so I feel for Ronnie.
Pagett - the Billy Bragg of snooker 🙂
He will have to let that arm rest... really have to consider playing more than 70 to 80% of the shots with his left arm to not cause him trouble
Pagnett looks like he's match fixing.... some of the shots were that poor...
It curiously clears up for lucrative far east tournaments with appearance money.
I have TE. I was always dismissive of it but my goodness it is debilitating. Can’t pass a plate across a table. Opening doors is a nightmare. Driving. Everything. Been almost a year.
My friend had tennis elbow and wouldn't stop going in about it! In the end I had to give her the elbow! Seriously though, I wish Ronnie all the best with it.
Ronnie trying to extend the session. . .but the opponent just not good enough to take the chances lmao

@@TailleferAlain ok, merci
No doubt about it may😅😅😅

All the Welsh love when pagget plays rubbish. I wonder why
I had an injection for it fixed it.
Well done you
Good for you: the injection rarely works.
@@MetteC5 funny I had that problem about two years apart I was doing a lot of fly fishing had an injection both times no issues since.
😂
Ronnie is a diva
Big one but the only one😅
If you're in pain, why are you here to play ?
I mean... it's not like you need the money, and you had no problem missing the English Open, so WHY ?
None of your fkn business
I suffer with tennis elbow, im a heavy diesel engineer, never had a day off work because of a little pain and im sure he can afford a better sports physio then me...
Yes but what he’s doing is far harder than you’re doing you berk

дурак ,ему незачем притворяться !
Ronnie is such a bloody actor and his elbow pain is all superficial...lol
Yes, after this elbow stuff he'll go back to complaining about his tip.
The only way you can know it's superficial is if you're in Ronnie's body, naughty boy 😊
How do you know?I'm guessing you're not a doctor 😂
Tennis elbow is a legitimate issue.
110% love watching the guy but we all know what he's like, boy who cried wolf.
