As you know, I'm not the biggest fan of Black Metal but I do enjoy some. I have to admit that anytime the genre is being discussed Marduk comes up in the conversation, and anytime Marduk is mentioned my mind always goes to that iconic Panzer Division Marduk album cover. I shoukld dig more in their albums. But Nightwing is soo good for me. The right atmosphere and the perfect titletrack.
Yes Nighwing is really good, do a little digging, most of them sound quite different, but you still hear it's Marduk. Cheers!
Awesome ranking! This is a band I wanna get into, as I'm very new to Black Metal. They're a band I know of but never listened to, and from the clips you played and what people have said about them I really wanna check them out properly. Thanks for making this video 🤘🏻🤘🏻

@@horseofunreason you're welcome! Ah wow that's fantastic, I definitely do wanna check them out. I've been recommended them a lot, however I never knew where to start. You'd say the 90's stuff would be a good place to start?
@@JoshKeech Yes, Those of the Unlight and Opus Nocturne are easier to get into than the rest I think.

Frontschwein (going by memory) was my favourite but I at least have never heard Wormwood as I don't own it. Marduk is another of many bands I need to revisit as apart from Viktoria I haven't listened to any for a while. Good ranking I'm pretty sure mine would probably be quite similar. 🍻🤘🏻
