Your garden is amazing!! So many beautiful blooms! And those Vanda parchara delight are stunning!! Also I can't believe you found a chrysalis for a soon to be butterfly!! That's amazing! Amazing Grammatophyllum blooms too as they are so dark!
Thank you so much! I am so enjoying all the spring blooms also! I missed the Monarch butterfly hatching but I saw her near her chrysalis stretching her wings and I made a short video that I am going to post. So exciting!!!🥰😊

Beautiful collection of orchids ❤❤❤❤ready for Redland?
Thank you! I can't wait, I'm planning to go on Saturday with my orchid society. We have a chartered bus for the show.
Gorgeous blooms, as always! Love your blooms, thanks for sharing! The encyclias are great, how do you bloom them? I have one that is growing nicely but no blooms yet.
You are so welcome!😊 Some of my encyclias bloom in the spring and some in the late summer/early fall. Maybe yours is a late bloomer. Make sure they are getting plenty of filtered light or morning sun. It will surprise you one day with beautiful blooms.🤗💖💖
Hi Lana, I’m an orchid beginner grower, also in FL, little North of you. How are you dealing with spider mites? They are really damaging my orchids…😢
Love your collection ❤
Spider mites seem to be a bigger problem in the dry season, and they can do a lot of damage before you detect them. Most insecticides are not effective for them, but I have found that 70% rubbing alcohol sprayed top and bottom of the leaves works well. It doesn't kill the eggs, so you have to reapply it in a week and watch it closely for the next couple of weeks. It's seems like a lot to take care of the orchids but the end result is so rewarding. Hope this helps, happy growing!🌞💕
Hello Lana, want to check how your Violeta doing after you divide it her?
