It also makes me think of a knight who got born into the job and got bored of how stuffy it was to him, so he's now trying to take things easy with an entertainment job, which is different enough to help him have a nice change of pace and similar enough for him to not experience whiplash. XD

He'd only remove his hand once you interact with him. Then he will give you a quest then goes standby mode again.

I love how this also works freaking well with Temma's knight lore. It's even got the potential to enhance any lore work based on his Dark Knight moments! XD
