I came here for Taeyeon but she barely talks, she is really shy and Jonghyun is so handsome and charismatic I really like him! Well in the first concern the girl was such a brat, in the second one I was pissed because how they freaked out just because the man do the housework and if it would be the woman the one who do it, it will be completely fine and in the third I find cute the idea of still loving someone passionately after 6 years but this was too much XD and its terrible how he doesn't care about his children!

In fact, he said he would do all of the chores except for dinner, because he wanted to spend more time with her. I understand if the wife isn't good at chores, but she should at least try to do them. Like using, "Once someone asks me to do it, I don't want to do it anymore" isn't even an excuse. She's basically just admitting that she's succumbing to laziness. As a kid, I feel like that all the time. Actually, everybody does. But we don't just stop doing whatever it is we don't want to do. I understand the wife is tired, since she works A LOT, and that the husband's personality keeps him from resting. Our favourite artists or idols have to do that all the time... to not make fans worry, for their fans to stay happy. Because they know that they are our safe space so they think that any negative emotions they feel would drag others down. :( Breaks me to say this, but... we really can't do anything. It is not like they see us when we DM them on Instagram or anything... they don't really know us and we don't really know them either. I feel like with the bird girl, someone should have the made the point that even though she's in charge of cleaning the cage, she should also clean after whatever the birds do outside of the cage. It's like if you had a dog. If your dog pooped inside the house, obviously, you would have to clean it, since it's your dog. If your dog pooped out of the house, you would still have to pick it up, since it's your dog. If you had a family dog, then if you're walking the dog, or letting him run outside a bit, and he poos, guess who has it clean it? You. You wouldn't be walking him, or watching he play outside, then go back inside and expect someone else to pick up after him. There's a reason why everybody calls those who refuse to pick up after their dog when walking them, jerks. Most of them probably clean up after their dogs at home, but why do we get mad when they don't clean up after them outside of the house? Because it's their RESPONSIBILITY.
I agree. My sister brought home a cat but she barely comes home and go out and told me to take care of it. It pooped everywhere. Now my parents are upset, we sent the cat to someone else.

Because in the U.S, bosses are often looked down upon and most people hate their bosses. Although the boss was working them really hard, it seemed like he had a bond with his employees....
It really depends on how the employees are treated. If the boss/management is fair, then obviously the employees will have a better relationship with them. You can work the employees hard and treat them like shit, or you can work them hard but treat them well at the same time.

I also started cooking more stuff at the age of 12 while maintaining good grades and having my piano exams and lessons. She's really stubborn. At least she's raising the birds, but she needs to clean up after them. She needs to realize that the birds are part of the problem. She was really rude when she said what her parents should've done. It seems obvious that the parents avoid confronting their child about the problem (dad intentionally go home late and lets the older daughter solve the mess. Really? Is that what a dad should be doing? Mom seems surprised that daughter doesn't seem to care about her health-being. That's a sign of a first time the topic is being brought up) Many kids don't know better until pointed it out to them. Yes it's still partially the kid's fault for letting the birds fly everywhere and not take care of it, but isn't it also the parents fault for not pointing it out and stopping her from continue doing so?
liltunwin agreed. Human are naturally self-centered when we are born. It is only when we grow older that we starting to consider others perspective. We can say that the girl is in 6th grade and she should know. But it is also the family's education that reinforce one's sensitivities for others people. The family did not teach that little girl considerations, and hence she continue with her behavior believing that she's right. I say the parent and the daughter are both at fault.
For the second concern; funny thing is, if the roles were reversed, it would seem completely normal and people wouldn't find it much of a concern because it's a "guy" thing. I remember when I felt so low I would watch this show and it would take my mind away completely from the bad stuff that was going on in my life .. If a women came on the show saying that her husband does nothing people would say it's a women's responsibility. For the first concern, I truly can't stand this kind of child... The parents don't say a thing about it because they're quite relief that she gave up having a smartphone and presents etc.. I really do think that she's spoiled... If they're all fed up then they really should say something about it..

To make this paragraph short, she's a brat and she is selfish. She only thinks about herself and the birds. Selfish.
Second concern -> If both the parents work then, the rule "the woman must do all the housework" is USELESS. Of course i think they should split the chores half-half , but lets be honest if it was her doing all the chores and working and the guy doing nothing a lot of people wouldn't consider this a concern ¬¬ There are plenty of couples where both work , yet only the woman do the chores , and no one bat an eye.
If you have watched Hello Counselor before -like many episodes before, when KBS started subbing them- you could see that there have been a lot of concerns when the wife is just so tired that her husband doesn't help with the housework that they can'ta take it anymore. And let me tell you, a lot of people have pressed the button. So please, don't use the "EQUALITY CARD" because that it's not the problem here, they both work and have the same schedule but the difference here is that the wife is just lazy...even when the husband was sick she didn't do anything!

Episodes like this really remind me of Korea's view on marriage on social status in the household. Man's chores, woman's chores, wife's place, husband's place. It's not terrible because it doesn't seem to be oppressive to the wives and it even seems to be slowly changing for those who want change but seeing stuff like this does remind me of that difference between here and there.
You can actually potty train parrots, it just takes a lot of efforts. Lovebirds aren't dumb, every parrot is smart, it's not because it doesn't talk that it's dumb... As a parrot owner I couldn't even with the first concern...

No. It's terrible if you force your spouse to do chores if they're sick, regardless if it's the husband or the wife. Especially when it's hard for them to walk. Letting the house fill up with garbage smell for 3 days, because your excuse is that you have a weak stomach, and thus unable to throw it out, is a sign that you're a terribly lazy person. This doesn't just apply to those who are married, but including single people. If you do this, you're a dirty & lazy person.

Nana: I want a husband like him. REALLY? You want a husband that is an idiot, wants to have 5 kids and don't take care of them? IMHO she said she wants a very affectionate husband and it was as simple as that. She didn't say she wanted to swap places for the wife's exact position as it exists today. Also, for them to say it's not a concern is showing confidence in the guests ability to fix it without needing outside help, which would be almost like an insult. Every time on this show when they say it's a concern, they know they're judging the people to be incapable of fixing their own problems. The preferable thing to do is vote that it's not a concern, which is why in SO MANY episodes they say it's not a concern when it clearly is!
Also, I want to ask you why you don't criticize Lizzy for her being the only one to say the last concern is not a concern? The boss makes his employee do things on the weekend and if the employee doesn't want to do it, he gets threatening texts! That's not a concern? Really? Honestly these were comments from over a year ago and I don't intend to watch it again to refresh my memory. But I will say this. I am a 51 year old man. I love that people express their opinions. I express mine too and am thankful for every forum that allows it. Some UA-cam channel owners only want comments which compliment them and mute / ban any other comments even though they are also given with love and sincerity. I'm thankful for a full and wide range of opinions and celebrate that rich quality of life wherever I find it. I hope that helps round out where I'm coming from with all of my comments on UA-cam and beyond.
She is cute, I agree, but not only does she has to clean up after the birds, she also needs to be disciplined by her parents. I mean, I am the youngest member of my family too, but you do not see me inconveniencing my whole family with a caprice.

I feel like with the bird girl, someone should have the made the point that even though she's in charge of cleaning the cage, she should also clean after whatever the birds do outside of the cage. It's like if you had a dog. If your dog pooped inside the house, obviously, you would have to clean it, since it's your dog. If your dog pooped out of the house, you would still have to pick it up, since it's your dog. If you had a family dog, then if you're walking the dog, or letting him run outside a bit, and he poos, guess who has it clean it? You. You wouldn't be walking him, or watching he play outside, then go back inside and expect someone else to pick up after him. There's a reason why everybody calls those who refuse to pick up after their dog when walking them, jerks. Most of them probably clean up after their dogs at home, but why do we get mad when they don't clean up after them outside of the house? Because it's their RESPONSIBILITY.
I agree. My sister brought home a cat but she barely comes home and go out and told me to take care of it. It pooped everywhere. Now my parents are upset, we sent the cat to someone else.

We can say that the girl is in 6th grade and she should know. But it is also the family's education that reinforce one's sensitivities for others people. If the parrots produce 100 babies, she'll keep them. Sure she cleans their cages and agreed to let them out less, but regardless of what she restrained, they'll STILL poop outside and STILL make a mess. What's the point of restraining their outside time and cleaning when she wants to raise more than 4 parrots? They'll just triple the mess. To make this paragraph short, she's a brat and she is selfish. She only thinks about herself and the birds. Selfish.

So please, don't use the "EQUALITY CARD" because that it's not the problem here, they both work and have the same schedule but the difference here is that the wife is just lazy...even when the husband was sick she didn't do anything!

Episodes like this really remind me of Korea's view on marriage on social status in the household. Man's chores, woman's chores, wife's place, husband's place. It's not terrible because it doesn't seem to be oppressive to the wives and it even seems to be slowly changing for those who want change but seeing stuff like this does remind me of that difference between here and there.

IMHO she said she wants a very affectionate husband and it was as simple as that. She didn't say she wanted to swap places for the wife's exact position as it exists today.
Also, for them to say it's not a concern is showing confidence in the guests ability to fix it without needing outside help, which would be almost like an insult. Every time on this show when they say it's a concern, they know they're judging the people to be incapable of fixing their own problems. The preferable thing to do is vote that it's not a concern, which is why in SO MANY episodes they say it's not a concern when it clearly is!
Also, I want to ask you why you don't criticize Lizzy for her being the only one to say the last concern is not a concern? Honestly these were comments from over a year ago and I don't intend to watch it again to refresh my memory. But I will say this. I am a 51 year old man. I love that people express their opinions. I express mine too and am thankful for every forum that allows it. Some UA-cam channel owners only want comments which compliment them and mute / ban any other comments even though they are also given with love and sincerity. I'm thankful for a full and wide range of opinions and celebrate that rich quality of life wherever I find it. I hope that helps round out where I'm coming from with all of my comments on UA-cam and beyond.
