Awesome vids my man. My 08 XTX does nothing when I shift gears. Ran fine, parked it, next time no power to wheels. Motor runs but gear shift changes nothing. Any common issues?
I'm thinking a belt issue. Mice could have gotten in the clutch area and caused all kinds of issues. Thanks for watching. Let me know what you find.
Foe the xtx clutch that you took out, i assume the slip is cause by that shaft seperating as it spins? If thats the case, you think a guy could just put a weld the two sides together, basically making it one shaft?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I ended up just cleaning everything up really good and then switching to a friction modified gear oil and seems to do the trick.

What are the torque specs for the bolts on the cover?
Hello, I have a 08 prowler 650 xt. There is a clatter in the rear end once you let off the throttle. What should I look for? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
I'd start by draining the oil in the rear diff. If you have particles then I'd tear into the rear end. Boots good on the drive axles? Here is a link to the parts I'm guessing you'll need. www.ebay.com/itm/234192100101

Will a 0214-1572 axle kit fit the gear.
By changing out the rear ring gear, do you need to do the same for the front gear for 4X$ applications?

2008 Arctic Cat Prowler 700 before after 3 seconds run and instant let the gas free and stop in seconds that was before now stay in neutral only.
