Aborigines (indigenous Australians) have a very long history of thriving in Australia's notoriously-harsh desert environments, where survival can involve travelling long distances for hunting and gathering. The traditional stereotype of the Aboriginal rugby league player is of thin, wiry athletes with great speed, stamina, footwork and reflexes. Greg Inglis broke the stereotype by being a huge, strong and powerful man with all of those other gifts as well. He's a rare beast, Inglis. A man of destiny, and a hero to many.

NRL more than any other type of football requires the stamina to absorb endless physical punishment. Offense, defence, no blockers, constant movement. Literally nowhere to hide in an NRL field.
One of the reasons why a rugby league player needs to be strong and fast is that unlike the NFL, they're not allowed blockers. So, in essence, they're using their speed/weight and strength to function as a blocker as it were, to get an advantage over the defence :)

This just some of G.I's Queensland state of origin highlights. State of origin is the best of the best, mate against mate, state against state. Much like a all-star/Pro bowl game only it's a best of 3 annual series on the NRL calendar & all player's involved would die for their state. You need to checkout at least one of Greg's many club or career highlights video compilations. The dude was a legit cheat code. Greg played with Billy at the beginning of his career on the Melbourne Storm & Obviously as you just seen with Queensland.
They were a cheat code. Bro Gi was the man aye. In that team they won 8 series in a row. They were unstoppable. The best players in order is hard because of there age differences. But during that 8 year period I’d say 1. Greg Inglis 2. Jonathan Thurston 3.Darren Lockyer 4.Billy Slater 5.Cameron Smith
No Steroids or any drugs in this sport. Everyone is 100 percent çlean. Billy Slater and Greg Inglis playéd for different clubs in the NRL (National Rugby League ,) competition. Every year we have the State of Origin competition, between Queensland in maroon and New South Wales in blue. It's magical and as a Queenslander, we were pretty unbeatable for over 10 or more years.
They state against state mate against mate. All through the year some these people play for the same club. It comes down to where you played you first game of football that's the side you play on
So the team you're watching here is the Queensland State of Origin team that achieved Eight Straight...... meaning they won the series eight years straight. You asked for the top three players.... well, that's damn near impossible JT (Jonathan Thurston), one of the best the game had produced Valentine Holmes, Cameron Smith, and Darren Lockyer. The State of Origin is played once a year and is only three games..... the only participants are Queensland and New South Wales, and it started in 1980..... it doesn't matter who you play club footy for each week is about your State of "Origin" so only those from Queensland or New South Wales can participate. If you view clips from any of the players I've mentioned, then you won't be disappointed they were all greats of the game. State of Origin is the pinnacle most players strive to achieve. Hope this helps a little.
This qld team from 2005-2013 won every year. Most of the Australian international side was made up of the same players. Darren Lockyer, Jonathan Thurston, Billy Slater, Greg Inglis, cooper Cronk, Cameron Smith, Darius Boyd and Israel Folau. All some of the best players to play the game.
Hey nice reaction brah. NRL(Natiaonl Rugby League) is so much better live. There are sights and sounds that occur that the TV wont air or is able to catch live. Highly recommend if you can at least once in your life to see a live match. Try get to las vegas if you can afford to make the trip for the annual NRL tour. It happens only once per year in las vegas and for the next 4 years only. 2024 was the 1st year. So thats the opening Round 1 match, once a year, in las vegas, until 2029. Next year is going to be a different set of NRL teams going to las vegas and possibiliy a womens NRL match happening over one evening. So within the space of 3 hours. So you will get to see 2 NRL matchs and one NRLW match, all back to back. Thats 3 games. It goes fast. Plus unlike NFL, unless theres a major injury or some other random phenomenon, NRL dont have huge breaks between sets. Its just continuos.
Top three, more like top 10 players. Players to check out from this team are. Johnathan Thurston Cameron Smith Cooper Cronk Darren Lockyer Just to name a few. Johnathan Thurston probably the best.
There wasn’t a top 3. For most of GI’s run he had Cameron smith, Billy slater, Jonathon Thurston and cooper Cronk. He also had Darren Lockyer Justin Hodges, Israel folou, petro civaniciva and Karmichael hunt. Most of these guys are in the top 10 to ever play in their position. At least 6 are in the 3 in their position and Lockyer, Thurston and smith are top 5 all time in all positions.

Much like a all-star/Pro bowl game only it's a best of 3 annual series on the NRL calendar & all player's involved would die for their state. You need to checkout at least one of Greg's many club or career highlights video compilations. The dude was a legit cheat code. Greg played with Billy at the beginning of his career on the Melbourne Storm & Obviously as you just seen with Queensland.
i miss those days Gi and slater Queensland Origin
They were a cheat code. Bro Gi was the man aye.
In that team they won 8 series in a row. They were unstoppable. The best players in order is hard because of there age differences. But during that 8 year period I’d say
1. Greg Inglis
2. Jonathan Thurston
3.Darren Lockyer
4.Billy Slater
5.Cameron Smith
No Steroids or any drugs in this sport. Everyone is 100 percent çlean. Billy Slater and Greg Inglis playéd for different clubs in the NRL (National Rugby League ,) competition. Every year we have the State of Origin competition, between Queensland in maroon and New South Wales in blue. It's magical and as a Queenslander, we were pretty unbeatable for over 10 or more years.
Top 5 players on the Queensland Team is, Greg Inglis, Jonathan Thurston, Cameron Smith, Billy Slater & Cooper Cronk 💯🔥
#QUEENSLANDER 🤝🏽
They state against state mate against mate. All through the year some these people play for the same club. It comes down to where you played you first game of football that's the side you play on
His ancestors hunted the kangaroo and the emu (the meat that makes men strong) for 40,000 years.
Check out Jonathan Thurston as well too
So the team you're watching here is the Queensland State of Origin team that achieved Eight Straight...... meaning they won the series eight years straight.
4:00... they eat Vegemite mate💪
Thanks bro
Eight Straight started with the first win in 2006 to 2013..... you're a year out. ❤
Thank you for mentioning Folau he truly doesn’t get the respect he deserves smh 🤦🏾♂️
Check out the highlights of Jarryd Haynes.
You need to do a Review on Steve The Hitman Matai.
Greg Inglis actually scored the greatest try of all time for the Rabbitohs. Link below:

JT, GI, Billy, Cam Smith....
Inglis should be playing for the Blues! He was born in New South Wales not Queensland!
You need to check out Jonathan Thurston and Darren Lockyer.
GI, slater and Johnathan Thurston
React to Jason Taumalolo,Johnathan Thurston,Shaun Johnson,RTS so many players past and present ! State of Origin would be a good reaction !
No Drugs here Mate just a lot and lot's of Training and of course Spirit Queensland Spirit. Sorry N S W
We all know NSW are a really sorry bunch 😂😂😂
yo should watch Greg Inglis bit hits
Top three, more like top 10 players.
Players to check out from this team are.
Johnathan Thurston
Cameron Smith
Cooper Cronk
Darren Lockyer
Just to name a few.
Johnathan Thurston probably the best.
It is a crime for Greg Inglis and Billy Slater to be on a team together because they were on my team the Melbourne Storm
Jonathan Thurston👑Greg Inglis👑Billy Slater
17 x Greg Inglis beats 17 x anyone else
It's STATE V'S STATE
QUEENSLAND V'S NEW SOUTH WALES..
Player's are selected from different teams (Club Level)
