- Chris Berman gets a little frustrated. Caught on-camera in 2000 just before Monday Night Football returned from commercial: Why does everybody all of a sudden have to move? Youve got two fucking hours to move around. Wait 10 minutes. Jesus!...Its like no one has worked on TV here before! Jesus!

That was the guy who leaked the video after being fired from ESPN for being a "Pain in the ass". Difference was, Chris had/has a much bigger paycheck.
Things about this that have been lost to history but are important to realize: This did not take place at the ESPN campus in Bristol but in Baltimore at the ESPN Zone restaurant. The idea was to put Berman in a setting where fans could interact with the short, 20 minute ABC pregame show (the full pregame aired on ESPN with Mike Tirico and Tom Jackson). However, the show being done from a restaurant with a crew that was not used to operating the studio led to mass chaos and the idea was quickly scrapped.
This actually happened in public? I guess social media has advanced in the last 15 years. He'd probably be fired if that happened today.

Back in 1996, around the time that live audio began being broadcast on the internet, a web site that existed at the time broadcasted ESPN's raw satellite audio feed of the NFL Draft that year. The feed began about an hour before broadcast, and during the lead-up to the broadcast and during commercial breaks, Chris Berman was no different than what you saw in this video clip. This is typical Chris Berman off the air.

I worked the Super Bowl in Miami when the Colts lost to the Saints. His crew set up very early in the morning and they did several live shots throughout the day. There was a young blonde lady working who had a headset on and I saw him blow up at her and then again he blew up over the sandwiches/food that they brought him. I had all the respect in the World for this guy before that, but not now. This blow-up is not the only one that the camera has caught. Glad I don't work for or around him.
To paraphrase Mr Berman's concerns; Fucking FOB's ducking under cameras... and there was SEVEN of them them! I can believe this shit, I need a damn beer. Fucking unbelievable!

To be fair, Chris Berman must be allowed to concentrate. Specifically, to concentrate on spewing the same tired catchphrases and clichés he's been cashing in on for (literally) decades. Live TV is technically demanding, requiring a number of producers and technicians to make it happen smoothly... but when Lord Berman is on the set, everyone must hold their breath and remain silent at all times. Lord Berman may not be disturbed... lest his GENIUS be interrupted.
