Fluffy was super busy but actually came just for Trevor..that is so sweet. He took Trevor around the US earlier on and 7 years later, came to TDS as a show of love and respect to his friend. What a great send-off.

I mean of course. I mean if it wasn’t for fluffy we wouldn’t have known about Trevor as quickly as we did. It woulda taken a very long time for Trevor to get himself out there and for fluffy to change Trevor’s life so quick and genuine is amazing. Cuz personally I woulda never known about Trevor if it wasn’t for fluffy. But this was a awesome segment for them 2 to enjoy together for Trevor’s last few shows.

That's true. My wife went to see Fluffy way back when Trevor was opening for him and had zero idea who Trevor was. When he landed the Daily Show she was like, oh I've seen him.

Gabriel took Trevor under his wings when he just started out in the US. Now Trevor made a name for himself with the daily show. Its so heartwarming to see a sort of reunion between these two amazing comedians, who are both my favorites. :)

Fluffy has been my favorite comedian for decades. Trevor has been my favorite talk host and comedian these past years. I was so excited to learn tonight that fluffy introduced Trevor to our world. What a beautiful combination they are ❤

Yeah he was Trevor’s mentor for the US comedy circuit.
Took my kids to see him a few years ago in a tiny theatre in Redding Ca. .. best show I have ever been to hands down I mean his show was great , but he stayed on stage for 45 min after the show talking about his night out on the town , answering questions, giving away merch , telling more stories and just generally being a normal guy hanging out with friends .. it was amazing .. like felt like we knew him awesome . He deserves every single minute of the packed Dodger stadium ! And since I’ve been a long time fan it totally brought me to tears to see how very humbled and excited he was up on That stage 💜And now I can’t wait for Trevor and Fluffy in South Africa!!! Please please make that a reality!!!!
What a sweet relationship these two have. As soon as Trevor asked Fluffy who inspired him I knew his answer would be his mom. It brought tears to my eyes. I wish she was still alive. She would have been so impressed with Dodger stadium.

Trevor seems much more himself and relaxed now that he has decided to move on from The Daily Show. I really look forward to seeing what he's up to next.

Fluffy is one of the best out there. A few years ago, he performed at East Los Angeles College trying out new material and it was hysterical! After the show he stayed to take pictures and shake hands with the fans! Such an amazing person!

Gabriel Iglesias' mom raised him right. What a wonderful, generous, kind and hysterically funny man. I never miss a special, and loved his TV show. You and Robin Williams are my all time favorite comedians. Both talented and humble...rare in this world.
Fun fact: Fluffy often wears a Hawaiian shirt because he wanted to be like Robin Williams. Robin Williams would wear a Hawaiian shirt oh his shows.

I got to see Gabriel in a small show he did in Georgia and I still grin so hard when I remember it. 😊 He asked if he could tell some of the classics and the audience obviously cheered yes, and we all started "singing along" to the jokes. He pretended to be bothered but totally ran with it and he even pointed the mic at us for us to yell "MARTIIIIIIIIIIN" at the right parts.
He's such a gem, honestly. Great dude

Gabriel is as genuine in real life as he is on stage. Such a down to earth guy. Met him at a diner in Long Beach once, invited me to sit next to him, spoke to me and then clicked away selfies on my phone camera of us. I will never forget and will forever be a fan!

Fluffy is incredibly funny and if that was not enough, after every show no matter how tired he was, he would stay taking pictures with whomever wanted one (he did not have to but he did). And this is after he was already super famous, he is an awesome guy.

Didn't see that coming, that they've been friends all along. They're both great at what they do.
I only discovered Fluffy a year or two ago (or maybe three, time flies). And I've been hoping to see something like this, Fluffy and Trevor together, ever since I learned that Trevor was on tour with Fluffy. Hoping because while I had expected them to still be friends (they're both that kind of person), I couldn't be sure. Now I am sure, and am happy.
I celebrate Trevor Noah for honoring Fluffy. Trevor remembered how Fluffy gave him the platform to perform during his tours. We live in a generation where people don't remember those who once helped them to get to where they are today.

This is the first time I saw Trevor had more to say than time would permit. Their mutual respect and affection is so obvious in their faces and the way they spoke to each other.
