i5 12400f is a great processor but keep in mind there is literally almost NO "good" budget intel motherboards under 10k. also upgrade path se better in amd
The bet budget intel mobo is asus prime h610m-e D4
And it can handle i5 12 th easily and also u are telling about the sh** b450 mobo which supports pcie 3rd gen and not upto date and the GPU utilisation will be affected and can't upgrade to ryzen 5 and 7 5000 series CPUs yeah in india on the budget segment the ryzen series is bulish**, but the intel h610 mobo which I told u now is the best and supports pcie gen 4 and a good speed ram upto 3200mhz which I prefer if u on a budget and all the builders prefer and see if u have more money u should definitely go for the ryzen 7000 series and they are the best best best best and they are on am5 socket which will be supported for years bro but mark my words amd in india is buls*** in the budget segment most people will pair the sh** ryzen 5 5500 with Rx 6600 and the cpu only supports just pci 3rd gen and can't utilise the full bandwith of the gpu bruh

Mere hisab se F series avoid karni chahiye, agar GPU me koi issue ho gaya toh computer chala bhi nahi paoge.
Aur GPU me nvidia lelo agar seriously productive kaam karna hai, aur nvidia agar lena hai toh 3050 nahi lena, agar paisa thoda bara sakte ho toh 3060 lelo. 3060 me 4GB vram extra hai. Aur samay ke saath games ke vram requirements bar rahe hai toh 8GB vram kaam pad jayega.
Mera khudka system me 12400 aur 3060 laga hua hai. Mai forza horizon 5 khelta hu, uske saath photoshop, blender bhi chalata hu. No dikkat.

you should go for ryzen 5 7600 it will open the path for easy upgrading in future as the motherboard will support next 3 to 4 cpu generation cuz its based on AM5 socket and also it supports ddr5 ram as well

Bhai go for RTX 4060 Ti, it's almost similar in terms of gaming also for other tasks that require GPU insight features Nvidia is better, If you are only goining to game then go for AMD. Nvidia is future proof due to DLSS and Frame Gen. Compare old Nvidia cards to AMD cards you will get your answer. For gaming AMD provides better price to performnace for now but Nvidia will stay wirth u after years. Hope it helps.

After 5 years when I want to upgrade my CPU why will I go with 13th or 14th gen??? Think before buying this processor as this platform won't support processors from 15th gen onwards as intel is changing the socket from next gen. Max you can upgrade to 14th gen.

Mobo : intel H610 or B660 chipset / ryzen B550M chipset.
Gpu : go for 8gb vram card, or if you are tight on budget atleast get GTX 1650.
Ram : at least 16gb ddr4, vengeances 16gb
SSD : at least 1tb, EVM/ consistent /WD green these are cheap and good options.
