Just a tip for you Super. When you launch the opponent with up water ball and after the d2 when they come down, Extend the combo with standing 13 instead of 242, it's much more consistent and easier to do, I usually end the combo with 13 into BF1, OR you can do 134 for the nice plus frames. - from a Rain Co-Main

242 definitely works after the down 2. You just have to microdash forward BEFORE you do the down 2.
I think that was a secret change that they didn’t mention when they did that patch some time ago because I don’t remember it being that way. But it definitely could’ve been that way.
I usually just bounce the opp anyway. I only throw them up and down 2 them when I’m trying to be fancy because the opp is free af.

I just started learning Rain and what i find is that that the 2, 4, 2 string is really awkward but it is actually the string you use the most. It's just wierd that you need to put in the whole string for completition. I know you can cancel it in between, but i find it very hard to react on hit or block in just this short window of the first and second hit conecting.
