Great video but I do have a question: I heard there were huge fires in September '16 and this video has been uploaded in October '16. Is all footage from before or after the fire? Reason why I ask this is because I can hardly find anything from after the fires and we plan on going to Thassos this year.

" Please remember our beautiful island when you think about your 2017 holidays! The images and videos you see being posted on Facebook and various news websites show Thassos in such a horrible light. You only see the fires and destruction as if the entire island burned to the ground. Don't forget that the media makes money by providing the most "exciting" news and they will show you the most dramatic images. It's not going to help their bottom line by showing all of the areas of Thassos that were not impacted.
Thassos is still a beautiful and safe destination! "

The Monastery of Archangel Michael is located on the hill slopes with panoramic view to the Aegean Sea. Market day on Thassos is Monday, and market is located in Prinos and is open from about 9 to 14h.

Saliara (Marble Beach) is a small exotic beach in the northern side of Thassos. It is 5km far from Limenas.

0:32 Psili Ammos, 3:10 Marble, 3:12 where is that hole with water? 👉 Giola This natural phenomenon is located near Astris. In order to reach it, you should drive via dirt road for 2 km and then to have a short walk.
