i have this same jerky gun, it works great. its a pain to clean, but at least you can take it apart fully and clean every component so theres no meant in any nooks and crannys
never use wood chips indoors. it will stink up the house and you'll never get rid of the smell. If you want, use wood chips in a smoker box on the gas grill for that hickory taste then bring in and finish in the nuwave

Just something I notice when I make jerky. When it come off the dehydrate the flavors are not that strong. After I let it cool in the Fridge I notice the flavor picks up quite a bit, but again You did not show the whole process you used and you could have done that. Love your Video.
not sure if it's the video or if you add stuff to your sriracha, but it may be time to buy a new bottle, that one's looking a little old. when it's new the color is a brighter red, when it's old it starts turning a dark red like yours.

up4atgal How old is your dehydrator? My finish product is a full gallon zip loc bag(approx 5 lbs of raw meat) and its usually done in 6-8 hrs depending on humidity. Mines an American Harvester about 10 years old now.
Ha ha I don't have a dehydrator, i have seen raw vegan dehydrator stuff for hours on end lol. I don't actually dehydrate anything and personally, I wouldn't really dehydrate meat. Thanks for your interest though XD it was a funny question!
you put way too little amounts of seasonings, and it definitely needed salt, i don't think you added it. unless you added it off camera idk but good job though
Jack, can you Please air fry some French fries in this for a comparison vs. a normal oil fryer. I've been looking at air fryers for awhile and can't decide if I should pull the trigger on one. I need a professional's opinion. Thanks.

The method looks pretty good for ground beef which I wasn't expecting, but there's way too little seasoning in this jerky which is definitely why you're complaining about the flavour being lacking. You need heaps more salt and spices in there if you want it to taste right. Just a dash isn't enough for a whole Tube of Meat

Jack, the way we test if we have added enough flavoring is to fry a small piece of the flavored meat before putting it in the jerky gun.

Dehydrating in just 6 hours is very good. Usually it takes all night and half the day with ordinary dehydrators lol

If the machine has a gun for jerky shouldn't it have it's own venting area when making jerky not customers make there own
