Hey I have a question where is a good website to buy funko pops
Thank you brother 🍀👍🏻
Without any I prefer outside the box since the funkos look better, they are more visual, you can create stories, environments and models with them. Apart from that they are also a great ornament to decorate the house :)
I would take out my pops but I HATE dust and keeping them clean would involve constant dusting in those nooks and cranny's of the figure 😭
Glass cases are the way.. dust less about one a year and there is still basically no dust
No way lol
I don't blame you
Yup, my feeling exactly. I’m thinking of having some custom bookshelves made with glass doors
I've pops out of box and no glass case ... and I clean the dust from time to time ... Like 1 time in 10 days or more :D I've two Billy bookcases from IKEA and they are white, so you don't see the dust that much.
I really enjoy this kind of open talk and behind the scenes look. Great vid, thanks!
I’m still a in box collector, thank you for the tour of the studio.
I definitely love the look of out of box displays more than in the box but because of time, space and dust I prefer to keep mine in the box.
I’m an OOB collector. OOB is a lot of work, but that new setup looks awesome.
I would recommend floating shelves. Each of those bookshelves have an inch border. If you you have 4-5 side by side that’s 8-10inches you can have.
So, I've thought about boxed vs. unboxed Pops and I eventually got to a point where I felt I was doing a disservice by not opening them and showing off all of the details and such. I did lose some shelf space but that also allowed me to determine hey, do I really need this Pop,and it allowed me to sort of thin my collection at the same time, something that I probably needed to do. So, I'm down for letting the Pops breathe. I think we obsess over keeping them in the boxes, I understand if some are valuable but to me, I just took a resell price cut and opened them up. They felt great in hand and I was happy with it.
If I had the space they would be all OOB apart from the signed ones, you miss so much detail on figures (especially anime) when in box. I just did a rearranging video today actually, we are also moving next year, can’t wait to finally have the space, but we also collect Lego and Hot Toys and other stuff too, very expensive habit 🤣
OOB for most and in box for Chase's / Diamonds / Jumbo-10"-18".
Both ways is cool!😁 All depends on the pop.
This inspired the way I display most of my MHA Pops! outside of my main wall
I like to do both in and out of box since certain ones I like to keep in box!
I display all of mine out of box. I don’t like how they look kept in box personally. It also gives me more room to have pops displayed as I don’t use shelves like you do, I use individual stands on the wall for each, so I wouldn’t be able to display them if I kept them in box either. I have a minimal amount of shelf space just from the wall shelf going around my room (split level basement so they all seem to have that) and I use that for my larger pops that don’t fit on the stands.
In the box. But out the box looks cool, but like you said, it's harder to display. Funny enough I was wondering about unboxing some of my own collection, might still do it. I already have some out the box tho. Your collection is looking great 👌🏽
I do both OOB and in box. It depends on how the pop looks best. I also do not use the boxes if OOB because they take up space so they are put in storage. I use risers to display more
Love the new set up 🙌🏽🤩, I kinda decided to do the same but just rearranging my collection plus other collectibles and I agree it takes a lot of time and space
I really like the out of box look, but it’s not for everyone lol especially with expensive pop. Awesome video like the way your collection is looking!!!
Hey skittle. Just wanted to ask what shelf you have for displaying your pops. It would be nice if you sent a link to it. Thanks
They are Mainstays Walmart Brand!
I don't have much of a collection yet, and it mainly consists of One Piece figures because I'm a big fan of the show. I prefer to keep my pops out of box so I can easily grab them anytime to look at every detail. But, of course, I keep the boxes just in case I'd wanna sell them someday
I'm just shy of 300 Pops in my collection and each one is displayed out of box. The boxes the Pops come in are kept in storage. I have a very large bookcase and have been adding on to it whenever I need to create more space for the collection.
This summer I will be making a new custom bookcase to hold a collection closer to 400 Pops. This way I will have time to fill it up.
90% of the Pops in my collection are MCU related.
It depends honestly. They look cool in-Box, but I also love to see my pops out-of-Box too. I just redid my Dresser display and my Pops are out-of-box. They look better that way tbh
I prefer out of the box because I like seeing the full details of the pop. Additionally, I don't want my collection to feel like a store as I have tons of funkos.
It does feel like a store sometimes Lol
That is my main reason for being OOB collector 😂😂😂
Awesome collection and video 🎉🎉🎉
I like them out the box it looks great
I display mine outside of box in cases. There are a few reasons for this.
1. In my opinion it better displays the paint job and details on the pop itself
2. Box damage bothers me much less
3. Boxes can be all different sizes and it makes it hard to display certain pops
I still do keep every box in storage. I currently have 295 pops displayed out of box
I prefer both ways! I have the majority of my pops are in-box, but some are out of box! My Funko Pop moments are all out of box!
Out of box but keep the boxes for later
Hey what shelves are these?
I do both oob and in box. I keep all the boxes so once an oob pop gains value I’ll clean it and throw it in its box
I do both - most inbox- but a few with sweet sweet sculpts I hav 2 displays from Michaels i added UV lights
I’m mainly an in box collector but I always debated to do out box but keeping the boxes in case of moving. The shelves I plan on getting can fit five out of box for the traditional 4in ones vs four in box but having to dust every nook and cranny of the pops and having a few vaulted and grails out and unprotected is holding me back 😱
OOB for sure! I don’t want the boxes around I like to look at the characters
I've in and out of box ... I've one movie moment only and three 6'' pops so I've space for them. I've 130 pops (for now) and two bookshelves. Still have some space .. I mean 3 shelves are full with my DVD collection.
That Hikari Spider Man is fresh!
10/10 Spider-man collection.
Either way depends on how the collector likes to display. I prefer both but when they are out of box but the box is behind them
What shelves do you use?
Walmart Mainstays
Okay so here is a question where did you buy those black shelves I just started collecting and I want somewhere to put them
I would just say it avoid the holes try and but command hoods with Igor adhesive like test it out see how it goes at work you have to paint regardless but worth a try to avoid slot of work if u gotta move next year
I prefer in box easy to clean easy to stack but I have a little of them out of box, some of them definitely shine better out of box
The loose pops I own were just lucky finds either on flea markets or purchased online, like for example my ghost face that I bought for $27 or Soul which I paid $33, their value were way over $100 😁 but other than that, I would just keep them in box.
I prefer my funko pops out of the box so that I can see the figure in its entirety. I feel like the box limits the full view of the figure.
Most of My funko pops are OOB but the exclusive ones those are in Hardcases and organized don't want to ruin them
99 percent of my pops are in box but i take a few out n have them scattered around like my desk n around the house n just change them out every now and then!
I'm new to the whole Funko stuff. I was wondering if indirect sun light effects the colour of the Pops ? I have them in the Ikea glass display too, however in the morning the sun is indirectly shining on some Pops and I was wondering if the paint could fade away or not.
probably no only when its directly in the sun light
Is kraken collection a good place to buy funko pops?
I could never take them out of box the only set I’m considering is the sinister six deluxe set once they’ve all been released
OOB collector here. ❤️
🤟
As soon as I move I’m going to buy proper shelves and take them out of box and put them in front of/in between the manga for the same series
I prefer in box, but I buy 2 or 3 depending on the price, so I can leave in box and display the other!
I keep them in the boxes and just had some that Hurricane Ida caused Water Damage to mine and my wife's collection and soon as I replace them then the damaged ones are going out of the box
Sorry to hear that but glad you're okay!
in my collection there is one pop i would never take out of box and that is my hanako chase
I prefer my collection in box because I have over 2000 pieces and very rare pieces as well.
i keep my pops in box but do take them out of box occasionally
What kind of shelfs do you get and how much are they
I only have 1 as of now and I've debated in or out and in looked really bad the box was damaged from shipping so I keep it outta box
What Doctor Strange is that? WOW I never seen that one.
I keep all mine out of box to see all the details. Just wondering, how come u put some pops in box behind other boxes, like what the point do having them if u can’t seem them?
Because I still like the characters, I interchange the pops.
@@SkittleRampage ooohh ok, yeh that makes sense
I'm looking to buy Funko Pop! Bleach: Ichigo chase (1087) signed and psa 10 graded for 265$. Do you think with Bleach anime coming back, more Bleach pops will be released and lower the price?
I have all my pops OOB so I don't have to rummage through box after box looking for a specific pop
I do not know if I should keep my naruto funko pops in or out of the box. Like I do have some expensive ones all so some rare ones. Please somebody give me some advice.
I only have anime moments out of box. And 3 blue eyes white dragon with its 3 head dragon in box.
Out of the box!
I prefer in box only cuz i had them out of box for the longest time and then one fell and broke and I couldn’t fix it and ive been in box ever since
thank you for your content ❤️
You're welcome!
I prefer to keep my pops in boxes once in a while il take some out but I hate when thay get dustyon and then I would have to clean them
I collect out of box because you can see the detail and design better
A) it depends on what funko it is, but I like them outside of box
In box!!
in my collection the marvel´s funko pops are in box because are bubble head and the other ones are out, i have more anime pops
In box collector. Enjoyed your video.
Thank you!
Anyone know what shelves these are?
I understand that the value goes down if you take em out of box but I like them out of box more and think thats theres a lot more creativity you can put into them and its characters I like so I wouldnt want to sell them. Thats why i perfer out of box.
Out of box in my glass case
Keeping toys in boxes is soooo sad :(
are you going to collect the jjk set
Yes!
@@SkittleRampage I will try to it’s kinda a big set
Who did you custom leoluch funko??
Otaku.Pop.Customs IG!
I keep em in the box. If I had a better setup with more space I'd unbox them
What Shelves do you use?
Walmart Mainstays!
Anybody know who is realesing the jujutsu kaisen pops firs I had them on entretaiment earth but they delayed until January 2023 so want know if there is place that got them first
Usually stores like Gamestop/Hot Topic get them on earlier.
In box, but it's nice to spice it up a little
Yes it is!
Your 22? I thought you where like 19 💀 I have like at most 100 pops right now but I hope to have a lot more
I’ve had my naruto vs Sasuke oob since it first came out and had the faces turned and not the naruto one is falling off because his head is supposed to be held on Sasuke (I think) don’t make the same mistake!
How do you have a lelouch funko
It's a custom!
Does anyone know how much champa normally goes for?
I think around 30-40$
i like my pops in the box
I used to be keep in the box guy then i started watching anime and collecting anime pops now all of my anime are out of box they just look good out depending how you display them only anime are out box my non anime or rarer pops are sealed in box
Yeah over the years I have become more relaxed Lol
I collect manga and pops so I like to have the pops out of box with their respective manga
Oh that's really cool!
i think all pops should be out of box unless its a grail whats the point of having them if they look the same as they do when you get it in the store you may as well just leave it there
Is lelouch a custom
Yes! I hope they make the real thing some day!
What's your pop count?
Around 500ish
Finally
cheap ones out of box, and grails and rare ones in box!
Cool
Some Funko pops do look nice at a box so maybe
Out of obviously!
You're only 22? Wow
Handsome ❤
Out of box with the boxes put away in storage
