- Feeling and seeing energy may be easier to do than you think. Learning to sense energy is really very easy to do. In this ShamaMama video blog I will show you two easy exercises you can do to learn how to see energy and feel energy. Fun and easy for all ages. Give it a shot! :-) Namaste.
Thank you so much for posting this method for Seeing energy. Everyone else says look at your hand unfocused but that is useless for Me. I could hardly believe my eyes when I pulled my fingers apart and saw this light trail! I did get a black sweater and cover a propped up pillow on my lap which is a brilliant suggestion and makes all the difference. I repeated it over and over changing the position of my hands each time and it really was evident each! The first time it was white ish as you described but as I continued it became a deep blue shade. Wow what a trip! Feels like such breakthrough.. thanks again

I could see the nrg from the quarts crystal that was cool! I read about this from a Dr, from Russia. He had several different modalities and he said the world beats a path to his door.
in Russia there is no religion. Which at the time I thought was sad but now I feel differently about it.

I can see auras. They are very faint but to see those I do a soft stare and it appears like dust/flame coming off a body or object.

When I did the second exercise, I thought I saw a VERY faint white outline, almost like a very thin halo of smoke around my fingers and hands. What's really strange about it is that, compared to the first exercise, I could REALLY feel the energy in my hands while I was doing that. Anyway, being able to see energy is pretty cool and I'll have to practice until I master it.

I remember a year ago I put a small piece of clear quartz on my forehead when I was laying in the grass outside. After a while I could see rainbows all around me! Crystals are a great way to help you see.

Hi ShamaMama - thank you so much for this as someone with Aphantasia this helps me use my other senses! I was able to see the energy but it was dark blue I was almost seeing my hands in like another dimension if that makes sense? Thank you in 2024!

I can see energy just as if I was looking at someone or an object not in doors but outside I just look up to the sky and it's there coming down to greet me as if it was waiting for me to notice it also I can manipulate it to an extent move it back and forth make it go up and come back down I just open my hand and let it come to me it's not just one they just keep coming like vibrations energy thats separate it's really alive and has it's own being it's own awareness and choice of where it want to go it just seems to me that because I notice was aware the energy aloud me to play with it I couldn't believe what I was seeing and doing so I took some pictures I wanted to see if I could take some pictures of what I was seeing I thought if I told someone they wouldn't belive me anyway unless I had prove I never knew that energy was really alive until I experience it myself I'm still fascinated

It's probably just the energy around you that you are feeling. You know when you rub a balloon on something to get it all full of static, and then when you put your hand up to the balloon it pushes back? It's the same thing. Everything is energy :-) I hope this helps. Namaste
The first time I felt energy I was just a kid, my brother reached across the table to get something and I jumped. He said I didn’t even touch you, I said you didn’t have to! He looked at me like I was nuts. I said don’t ask I can’t explain. Many years later I found out it was called energy that I felt. And have explored it quite a bit. Reiki, energy healing etc etc.
I have done this & felt the energy. It's like a magnetic energy, like your hands become magnetic, being lightly pulled together. However I can't see it. I've tried often & read in books to hold your hand in front of something black, so I try it while in bed & hold my hand up in the darkness. But I've only seen the residual outline you see briefly before it disapears- but isnt that just what's left behind after staring at an image? ... like when you stare at something then turn & stare at a blank wall & blink & see the image again but reversed, as in photo negatives. That is all that I think I'm seeing - not my aura, just residual outlines?
I love how you describe the magnetic pull/push when feeling the energy between your hands. That's exactly like I feel it, too. And it does sound like you are seeing a residual outline. But don't let that worry you. Keep at it, and you will probably start seeing aura at a time you least expect it. It will happen in your own way. :-)

Not sure about this. The dark background just enhances the negative affect you get when you stare at something then look at a plain dark or light background. If you stare at your fingers yes, you get that effect but if you look elsewhere on the dark material you see exactly the same pattern. All to do with the retina so no idea how that can be energy.

Wow I don’t see any colors but I see a small almost not visible line connecting to the two fingertips. I have to look very closely but it’s still pretty cool.
Laying on my back, I hover my hands above the chest and if I push a hand down, i feel energy in the other direction but the other hand

Hi, I read that you can feel the energy from your chakras by hovering over them with your receiving hand. The idea is to be able to detect if any of them are giving off relatively weak energy and therefore have some sort of blockage that needs to worked out. I've tried this but never been feel anything. Do you have any suggestions to help me increase my sensitivity for this? Thanks.
Just keep trying :-) It takes practice so don't give up.

Hi Anitha :-) Thank you for your comment and your sharing. You bring up SUCH a great point because we can all be around that yucky energy at times. I am sorry you are living in it :-( So, I would recommend visualizing a protective bubble around yourself, your room/space, your car, etc. Sometimes I imagine my bubble is made of Teflon like a frying pan so nothing negative gets to me. It helps! Daily smudging can help too as well as sound cleansing, like using a drum, bells, rattles, and/or singing bowls. The vibration will kind of shake up that dense heavy energy and clear your environment a bit. I have some neat ideas for a new video - thank you!! Be well Anitha. -- Karen

Hi :-) Spirit is always with you. But seeing spirit all the time can be difficult. We usually get glimpses or short moments of visually seeing them, but they are always there. Keep practicing seeing energy, and deep meditation with intention is helpful.

Its quite strange but I never did any meditation but its true I felt it easier then others and I can sense how the flow of energy where it moves or goes and its quite so strong that I can feel it around me to the point it can push my body if I ever walk around or run.

Awesome question!! Just keep practicing and you will find your ability to see energy grow stronger and more clear. Also, I would suggest meditating with the intention of seeing your own energy more clearly.....you may see it in different ways. Hi!! GREAT question! Okay.....I would recommend practicing more often, as well as daily mediation. Being aware of the energy of all things around you helps too...like going for a walk and looking at different plants, trees, flowers, people, houses, etc..... Just keep consciously doing it. You will be surprised at how quickly you will see a difference.

Ok, so when you said grab something black like a cloth I was like... meh, I dont have anything close by and then you said shawl and music stand and I literally had both of those within 20 feet...funny. THEEENNN, with the energy I was like, yes it's dark black with a white outline around it and then you said it. I was able to see it all the way down each finger headed down towards my hands. Kind of remindes me of when you're driving, or riding, in a car at night and you slightly squint your eyes and look at lights and it appears that the light almost seems to expand outward (and if you're a dork like me you tilt your head side to side to make the lights dance). Not the exact same thing I know, just kinda reminded me of it. And the energy ball I though it felt bouncy. Pretty interesting. Going to try it with my kiddos.

Hey Desiree :-) I feel it the way you do. I often feel heat as well. Sometimes I feel a "tug" like the feeling of a fish on a line. You are doing it! :-) There is no "one way".....just tune into yourself and read/feel the signs.

Bruhh lol I couldn’t get it to work so I touched a single point on my hand and imagined the feeling of it pulling as my finger got father away and it was kinda tingling in that one spot and also had a light feeling of being pulled
