I don't think Gabby was being overly sensitive. The men certainly were upfront about their intentions (which is awesome!) but it could have been done in a way that didn't tear Gabby down in the process. A simple statement such as "I feel more connected to Rachel" could have been more than enough. Even the toughest rock will start to break down when getting punched at repeatedly. Hang in there Gabby!! Your soulmate will come along
Agreed
110% agree
YES 👏
i feel like she should be less sensitive mainly because she said she is proud to be rough around the edges. We're all a little rough. I would criticize my creations/work as a little rough around the edges and it's just being polite. Whether I think my work is perfect or not I am not the type to say "oh wow yes this is perfect the most amazing creation ever". I was taught to take compliments with grains of salt.. And to reflect on criticisms in a healthy way. I'd way rather a guy communicate openly and honestly with me instead of thinking he needs to say the perfect thing every time. You shouldn't have to be afraid of breaking eggshells in a relationship or in life. Egos are meant to be cracked. I mean eggs.
@@owli3kat181 thing is this is not for a relationship, this is for rejection you don't need to give explanation for rejection unless you are asked to simple as that, look at Tyler simple statement I like Rachel point he didn't go to why he doesn't like gabby instead. Gabby accepted it just fine
I just wanted to give Gabby a hug as she was tearing up...She's such a gem.
vomit at your comment, she's a manipulative hypocrite, if she gets anymore entitled she'll have to rename herself hannah brown
Yea
Tyler was respectful and appropriately handled that situation. The other men were just completely tactless. Gabby is the full package. She's educated, secure, confident, genuine, funny, beautiful, calls people out on their bs, expects accountability, and has a deepness to her personality that shines through and the men who treated her like crap, in my opinion, probably wanted to "assert their dominance" and try to knock her down. Of course she got emotional because in a romantic setting like that, if a man (or woman) is picking at who you are it's going to make you feel like crap. Keep being you Gabby.
@Wait so I can put anything that’s not why she “broke down”. they were validating all her fears as the bachelorette and when you tell someone you don’t want to be with them because they’re “rough around the edges” it hurts, especially when multiple people are pushing you down after another
@@j72726 all her fears are meaningles, because at the end of the day Rachel got rejected too. So was her rejection more important than Rachel‘s rejection?
How old is she and what is her BMI?
Yes, I like Gabby!
actually, she has insecurity issues stemming from she and her mom issue. she wasn't loved by her mom and this created a doubt in her mind that maybe her mom did so bcox shes not good enuff. at the same time, her strong facade is obviously just a front. she can crumble easily and she yearns for love. u can see it from the first 1 on 1 when the guy didnt even really do anything, other than didnt reject her, and that earned him her favour. im not sure that guy truly on the same page with gabby, shes not thinking straight.
also, I knew this whole issue of choice gonna crop up sooner than later. u have 2 persons and this creates comparison. hence allowing the guys to choose and be in the driving seat. in the end, they had to separate to 2 distinct group, effectively returning to the usual format. whoever thought of this initial idea must not have much life experience I suspect
So basically the producers asked the men who they were leaning towards and they put all the men for Rachel on this date.
yep, 100% producer manipulation on this one.
Gabby you're an absolute gem! Don't let anyone make you doubt that ever!! Keep shining girl!
Only Tyler was respectful. The other 2 wanted to tear down gabby :/ Really disappointed that Rachel kept Hayden after this.
I was saying the same thing. To me, gabby is the better friend. Because not only did she listen to rachel, she also saw the men who rejected rachel and picked the only guy that was left that didn't reject rachel as her final rose. Rachel on the other hand, when gabby tried to tell her i know and this is how I felt the other night too, Rachel just dismissed it as yeah but that was private and this was public. And when gabby tried to explain, Rachel just talked over her 😬😅
@@ashleyluna4290 Agreed!
@@ashleyluna4290 Agreed, and Rachel picked Hayden as well after Gabby had named him and Rachel seemed shocked.
Edit: Just noticed Jussi had said the same thing.
Also, Gabby backed off right away when Rachel said she likes Logan. Didn't even mention that she also kissed Logan as well. She's by faaaar the better friend
I really feel for Gabby. She’s very nuanced and is an absolute reflection of who I was a month ago before receiving treatment. This experience will not make things any easier for her mental health. I cried watching this episode last night because she is such a worthy person and the way she was putting herself down was painful to watch. I think she already had her own insecurities prior to the show and I think this experience has only augmented them.
She isn’t too broken. She’s just beautifully human and I love her even more for it. God bless her and her family. She’s a lot stronger than I ever was and the way she dealt with those rejections just shows how resilient she is.
When Gabby says she WANTS to be rough around the edges because she knows who she is and she’s proud of it, literally, was so beautiful.
At the end of the day who cares what people call you or who you are to them. As long as you stay true to yourself that’s all that matters and Gabby showed that tonight!
Love her and Rachel.
Yeah I didn't think the "rough around the edges" comment was a big deal at all. It's good criticism. And she said she is proud of it so what is the big deal? We're imperfect. She could have humored him and said he's rough too.
@@owli3kat181 what do you mean so what's the big deal? She's just crying, she seems pretty in tune with how she feels and I don't see a problem with it?
@@cassie4965 I know right. I don’t understand it
Tyler was respectful while the other guys were just completely rude about it. I really hope gabby doesn’t settle or change who she is for these boys
To me gabby is the better friend 🤷♀️. Not only did she listen to rachel when she was upset, which admittedly rachel listened to her too, but she didnt pick any of the 3 men that's rejected rachel. She chose the only guy left that didn't reject rachel as her final rose. Rachel on the other hand, went to talk to gabby about being rejected and humiliated, gabby empathized with her and said yeah she knows what she means. Thats how she felt last night too and rachel just kind of dismissed her and said "yeah but that was private. This was public" and when gabby tried to explain herself, rachel just kinda talked over her 😬😬😬
I'm pretty sure they already discussed who they were going to pick before the rose ceremony
@@SarahGrace221 but if she was any kind of friend, she wouldnt have even considered keeping Hayden around after saying that to Gabby. And she also wouldn't have had a pissing contest with Gabby over whose humiliation was worse 🤷♀️
Yeah, I noticed that, too. Just based off of the way those two guys “rejected” Gabby I would’ve never kept them. But I think Rachel just wanted to give away her final rose.
OMG YESSS. was looking for this comment.
YESSSS!!!! CAME HERE FOR THIS COMMENT !!!!!!!!
At least the guys were upfront but the use of “rough around the edges” wasn’t a nice choice of words. I’m a Gabby fan and hope she’ll find her Prince Charming soon whether or not it’s here.
Take it from the source. He’s a loser. What do you expect? When a man shows you who is truly is, believe it!
Pro tip. When your rejecting someone, BE VAUGE! Just say “your not feeling it” and thats it! If the person does not ask why, do not tell them why. Hayden and Jacob were not respectful at all.
It's common decency.
The fact that they didn’t know how to be tactful just shows their immaturity. She’s better off without guys like that. She deserves someone on her level and appreciates her for who she is.
And then in the next episode someone vaguely rejects someone and the person being rejected asks them why... I think it's safe to say that they assumed she would like to know why. I've dated guys before that asked me why I didn't want to continue dating them. It depends on the person. But regardless of how vague or detailed you are, rejection still hurts!
they're strong and powerful women, they should be able to handle rejection no matter how it is given to them
Yes exactly! All you need to say is "I'm sorry, my heart and feelings are going somewhere else and I don't want to lead you on". THAT'S IT.
I felt so bad for Gabby. While on the one hand I’m glad the guys were honest in their choice but Tyler is the only one that said it with respect and class. There’s a way to get your point across without belittling someone . I wish Gabby had given her rose on that group date to Nate since he’s been constantly into her and they had that great date. But I also see that in that moment she was so hurt and fed up and wanted to make a point to the guys that she was upset.
I agree. Nate should have gotten the rose. He’s a class act. I don’t know why she was upset the 3 other guys weren’t into her - they are losers anyway. 🤷♀️. Nate is a much better catch.
What's his name, Hayden? Why do you need to give that elaborate explanation talking about morals etc? Just tell her you're more into Rachel and move on dude.
Exactly. I was even wondering what “morals” he thought he’d seen a difference in the two on. Doesn’t seem they’ve had a chance to really know them.
Just BS mansplaining.
If not settling for bs means you're rough around the edges hey. Sometimes you have to be rough around the edges because a lot of men will take your kindness for weakness if you let them. Stand your ground Gabby and keep being your awesome self. You deserve all the best girl and nothing less 👍🏽👍🏽
The guy who said Gabby was “rough around the edges.” 🤣🤣🤣 I would have laughed in his face. Like, “look who’s talking?” Byeeee
don't lie, you'd be begging for a kiss
@Fluffy_Tail yep. We can imagine you all passive aggressive the rest of the night
@Fluffy_Tail...See, here's the thing, it's not about winning, it's about the world brotha
Yeah he isn’t good looking at all.
Right gabby is way out of his league and he knew it so he bounced
My heart goes out to Gabby. She was so overwhelmed. How she handled the rejection in front the men too… but I hated the part when Rachel felt the same rejection said her situation was worse.. as gabby didn’t understand how she felt. When Gabby was about to say it doesn’t matter if it was private, they cut it out. Skipped their conversation… they should’ve never put two grown, smart, beautiful women in those situations to begin with.
Wooow no way, this show has become nothing but emotionally abusive! How dare you play with contestants in such a way trying to make her feel less than the other contestant.....the obvious typical blond and showing that as opposite of eachother!?
Funny how you will only do this to a female contestant.
What is sooooo different about Gaby? There is nothing wrong with her and she is not rough around the edges at all!
Being your beautiful authentic self is considered rough nowadays?
She is graceful, stunning, kind, loving and special!
Even if this did occur in the background you could have chosen to simply show the Tyler part that was more respectful instead of trying to break her selfesteem down with the scenes. The fact that she is standing there trying to convince herself that she is rough around the edges based on nonsense is sad! This is beyond toxic.....and now I know why this show would always allow bullying to go on in between contestants on the show, that further developed into online bullying because obviously your staff behind the show is TOXIC!
I mean I don't know what you expected. It has been like this for at least the last 5 years. That's why I stopped watching. Too much producer manipulation.
It has nothing to do with that at all. Ladies just can't stand rejection. It ain't rocket science.
It's going to be worst than being a contestant in the bachelor and getting rejected by just one guy...here they are going to go through a lot more
Even though these men were being upfront, a lot of what they said was very hurtful
"So casually cruel in the name of being honest" - Taylor Swift. One of the best but most gut-wrenching lyrics in her songs.
It hurt me to see gabby go through such a hard time because in many ways she reminds me of me it literally brought tears to my eyes .
How she feels is exactly how I feel , I just want her to find love to be happy n find someone who loves her for the woman she’s become.
She’s been through a lot doesn’t mean she is damaged or rough around the edges . Just hurts me , to see her cry because I understand . If I could have her as a friend I would be very grateful because she stands her ground and is a great example of a great woman
She's the overactive listener meme
The underlying crisis here is people don't understand that "rough around the edges" is a really polite way of saying you're human with love.
Or they could just say - eccentric, adventurous, unique
She so is not
Boys like mellow. Women like gabby are for men who are super confident in themselves, intellectually mature. Men like that are rare to find. Most of them are just 14 year old boys in a grown man’s body, but gabby when u do find ur true match (and i so hope u do), it will be great!!! A meeting of minds n not just bodies. 😊
Very delusional statement Gabby is really immature and completely self absorbed 🤣
Ouch this digging into my heart, this would put me in tears, it's so hurtful.
Hayden is not what I want in a man. We have different values and it is hard to get around him having his foot in his mouth.
Take a shot everytime Gabby says "yeah.." and then proceeds to nodd
Why did he say gabby is rough around the edges....🧐
What disturbs me the most is more about the show for trying to break someone's self esteem by trying to compare the two on a show and filming them in opposite......
How is no one saying that the show is being emotionally abusive towards the contestant here, by doing it in such a way?!
That is point blank breaking with someone's self-esteem and I am from now on over with this show which I was already barely watching because of how toxic it has become! Is this how low american tv has become?
This show has always tried to show what their ultimate preference is in looks, and it is simply discusting and abusive towards her!
Because he’s a Neanderthal. Surprised? He just showed who he really is. She should be glad that she knows he’s a pig.
That second dude’s face is so weird like he’s only got that one expression on his face
You are not different. You are special and beautiful and unique.
And even if they don’t see that, that does not give them the right to speak to you as they did.
This is why I don’t like the guys this season. None of them are respectful except for Nate, Tyler and maybe Aven.
@@l.mendes547 I think it's just how low we've become. We've seen it with how far people took it with Clayton and again here with Gabby.
your cryin' in these tread is both hilarious and pathetic...
"STRONG AND INDEPENDENT" my @@SS! ☝️🤣
Either you want honesty or you don’t, although Ponytail guy was a little mean and dismissive. The others were just honest in a direct no nonsense way.
She ends up with 9 guys and Rachell has 6 . At least they were honest!
Rachel had an extra rose at the ceremony and gave out the group date rose, when Gabby didn't, so if Meatball comes back then they both have 9!
I wouldve walked out
Being rejected is never fun but they crossed the line. Men have forgotten how to speak to a human and they just are used to swiping left or right.
Gabby and Rachel are now being pinned against eachother. The men have ego because they feel like they are choosing.
OMG Gabby. It is breaking my heart to see you like that.
Gabby is much too focused on herself and her struggles during this process and its frustrating to watch. If you notice during any conversation she has, she is literally incapable of listening to the guy talk about his life without turning the conversation around to be about her. She'll always say something to the effect of, " that is so special, as a blank myself I really blank and blank etc." Super frustrating to watch. Nothing will make a guy lose interest faster than this.
He said you’re smoking but I’m so glad we had this talk
😂
I don’t trust or like Hayden and Jacob. They come off condescending and shady.
Gabby is indeed a beautiful soul. She’s not stereotypically or classically “good looking” however and that might also account for these men choosing Rachel instead
Oh gosh, I LOVE Gabby
Ots good that the men who prefer Rachel tell Gabby now than later
The girls need to be strong because we all have that one person for you who will accept us flaws and all. sometimes you gotta kiss a few frogs....
I guy that's there for Gabby will see flaws in Rachel and not be attracted and vice-versa
This is horrific. I’ve only seen negative comments from viewers and I totally get it now
She’s not overly sensitive anyone would feel the same if they got those comments
I think most men would prefer Rachel becoz she’s prettier, sweeter and A BLONDE! Gabby is not as attractive let’s be honest, and she’s louder, bolder and more confrontational…which most men don’t like. Also I already KNOW who Rachel is picking it’s SOOOOOOO obvious from day 1 when they all stepped out of the limousine- TINO. She is obsessed with him. Totally attracted to him ON SIGHT and just everything else, her body language with him, the rubbing his hands when they holding hands but when holding hands with other men she’s pretending to like, she just hold their hand without running her fingers…just little things. People! I’m a master at reading people and their body language, go read my comment on the very first vid of Clayton the bachelor, I already PREDICTED that he was gonna pick Susie from DAY 1 when they stepped out of the limousine. Go read my comments. See when it was dated. I already predicted on day 1 just based off how he looked at her, I knew he was gonna pick her and it was true. This time I just know Rachel WILL PICK TINO.
As hard as it is, its better that the men are honest. But at the end of it we're talking about men who have options so many will flip flop and Rachel will face the same eventually
This is not honesty, this is mean I am talking about Hayden and jacob
@@bringsnsdback1645 They definitely need some lessons in empathy and tact
@@bringsnsdback1645 hope none of them come switching their stories about their feelings later on and if they do, send them home. I feel this is about either 1 of 2 things.
1 The chase - Gabby may appear a little easier and friendlier as she has a very bubbly personality so maybe they feel like it's not challenging
OR 2 -They realize she has a certain level of intellect and are scared off or feel less than imo
@mimi 💯 this!
There is honesty and there is telling Gabby they don’t want to be with her because she’s different, rough around the edges and “if she was the last person there they wouldn’t want to date her.”
Wow Gaby is confident love her and Rach
Same
Awh Gabby no you are literally so perfect please don't change for other people! ❤️❤️❤️
This just proves that guys don’t care about which girl is prettier…
Rachel is typical and Gabby is unique.
Unique is not for everybody.
STOP GIVING GABBY MORE LIQUOR! IF SHE'S MEDICATED - PRODUCTION SHOULD NOT DRINK!!! 😡🤡💥
Baby girl all my sisters they married and have their own children’s I am only one in Famaliy single no children’s no marriage so don’t worry baby girl you worth some one out there just don’t be changing who you are I finished college I created my own business I am trying to be crated something out of my self you are smart beautiful no one ☝️ know what future hold
The rough around the edges was a very arrogant comment.
The producers knew what they were doing when they came up with this joke of a season
Fabio was trash !!!
the last guy is such a d bag, “you are smokin though” lol
After rewatching this, I think her memory of how her conversation with Hayden went was a lot different than how it really went. I think she must have really liked him, so she pictured it differently in her mind. But, she shouldn't have ended the conversation with all smiles and giggles while calling him the best if she felt that way
thank you for being one of the few honest people in this comments section, her behavior is very confusing
Yay, yay, drink, absolutely, yay, for sure, yay, yay, drink, like, yay, yay, like, for sure, totally. Drink, Drink, Drink
Obviously having 2 bachelorettes was a bad idea. Doubtful they will make that mistake again.
No it’s not.
@@fluffytail6355 They have had to adjust the show, separating the girls which was not the plan. The girls hated the format, the fact they have adjusted it would suggest failure. You can disagree but the move suggests otherwise.
Poor gabby
I dont watch the show, no idea personalites, but looks wise I'd take gabby 10 fold.
Gabby don't cry for useless people because you deserve so much better like Nate and Jason
Rachel is more soft spoken. Gabby is a bit more fiery. Different men will get on board for each person don't be upset. Gabby needs to pull the emotions in and remember everyone is looking for the best fit.
You make a good point. I don't think Gabby should have told Rachel, especially in the way that she did because she made the conversation with Hayden sound way worse than it really was
@@SarahGrace221 rachel had every right to know, becuz those 2 guys were rude - especially jacob. Notice how she said nothing abt tyler, becuz he was actually respectful
0:51...Is he related to Edward Norton? So handsome!
I don’t think she was too sensitive but I think she took what the ponytail guy said the wrong way. It’s hard to be honest. I don’t think he was brutal he was just saying even if it wasn’t two women there he would still tell her the truth. Everyone doesn’t know how to express themselves and the network did create that environment for views.
PLUS Rachel ended up being the one that got rejected more than once so if she would have had the cocktail party she could have seen other guys who really liked her instead of trippin off the assholes
Tyler was sweet, but Hayden and Jacob were kinda off.
the show really set up these women for failure because comparison is unavoidable and getting past that stage is painful to watch, seeing a woman’s confidence be knocked down when she is the lead is disheartening
There was a similar show on earlier this year that the Bachelorette copied. It was with 2 male bachelors, one rich and one not. Exactly the same situation where the women all started in a big group then had to choose one guy or the other to continue on with. The guys had an amazing bond and helped each other navigate the situation. Bachelorette is riding the coattails of this show. These women need to show support and solidarity to each other and help navigate these men, less crying and more female power. No need to let a man make you cry when you can be laughing a drinking wine with a girlfriend!
None of these men are even trying to pull either one to have time with them. Havent seen much of Tino or Jason. Thinking they may be the two at the end.
HONESTY is not a feminine trait (go read the comments. Thank me later)
What is rough around the edges about her? What is he talking about
There's a lid for every pot. No matter how sensitivity or insensitively it was expressed. If it's not a fit, it's not a fit. If you're a Size 10, would you try to take home a Size 4 dress and make it work So why waste your time and effort on it? You'll feel lousey about yourself in trying. Anyone says you're not a fit is a gift to continue your search for someone who more closely aligns with you. It's not about acceptance or rejection. Validation or invalidation. There's a lid for every pot. At the end of the show, I'm sure the women found the best fit for them.
Yeah but if you’re going to reject someone it’s best to keep it vague instead of criticizing why you don’t wanna be with them
“Gabby is amazing” then why did you call her rough around the edges huh
This was uncomfortable to watch…
Rough around the edges = Genuine Person
Too bad they didnt see it.
This is absolute bs. The producers of this show are evil. Putting amazing women in positions like this, making them feel less than when they are the complete opposite, all for their drama and ratings. And they tried to pitch this season to be about women empowerment.
does gabby know how to say YES ..instead of YEAH??????????
I KNOW ITS SO ANNOYING SHE SAYS IT ALL THROUGH THE CONVERSATIONS
That drink she keeps drinking ..damn it
gabby is a hypocrite, they were honest with her and she got mad
ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES?
Yea totally
"Yeah"
I haven't watched the show and won't. But I'm about to give some pretty good advice for dating in this modern age just because all these comments are doubling down on a lonely life. Here's the bottom line...there is something about her personality that is turn off the men she's interested in. I guarantee someone has expressed this to her before and her friends we're like "you're perfect the way you are!" missing the opportunity for growth. These men spoke their truth, maybe not in the best way, but at least they were truthful. Ultimately even the guys that wanted to be with her, She denied so... kinda sounds like she won't listen to critique or even give the people who are interested in her the way she is a chance.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ gabby 🏝🏝
That’s hilarious. Humble yourself, girl
Ya ye ya it was hard for Rachel I guess
Wow...you can see it in her face poor gilr
Not nice at all
I know the feeling :(
Gabby just needs one guy not 3 or 4 guys.
Omg! I took pity to gabby.
she's entitled and condescending
These men where being completely straight up with Gabby, no head games, they simply aren't attracted to her, yet they're still considered bad guys apparently. Men can't seem to win for losing with some women.
That can be said without being critical of Gabby. Nothing wrong with the one who just said he felt more of a match with Rachel.
Being straight, doesn't mean being offensive. The first guy was just as straight but was respectful to her. Saying to a woman that she is rough around the edges, is like saying to a men that he acts like a softy girl.....just how something like that would take away from his masculinity and can be offensive, what he said took away from her femininity. No woman wants to be said to be rough, no matter how strong or bold she can appear.
It’s the way you say it. The words used.
Being straight up doesn’t mean you have to be hurtful or disrespectful.
You all are acting like she's made out of glass. How many times have male contestants been given hard truths as they're sent packing?? Double standards ladies.
@@Iacon40k I defended Clayton fully also when he was being completely truthful to the ladies on his season. There is a difference however with truth and mean. No man would appreciate it if a woman would have said to them you are kinda cute but you more like a softy to me. No one has an issue here that they rejected her....
Gabby should have said maybe it's not me being rough around the edges, maybe it's you just not being alpha enough then😂
gabby isn't rough around the edges, she's so self-centered and constantly plays the victim, no matter how much you care about someone if they are always insecure and insulting themselves it becomes exhausting having to reassure them and defend them from self-inflicted attacks, gabby is on the wrong show, she should be on dr. phil, but it would have to be a 10 part series to deal with all of her psychological problems, immaturity and lack of intellect
Tyler - Class
the other two - Trash
Gabby come’s across as being very “needy” … hope it doesn’t end like the last “Bachelorette” .. she dodged the bullet though, Nate was not an “up front” kinda guy
@mimi HA! I would have laughed in his face and said, “look who’s talking!”
The whole show is laughingly superficial !
Tyler for Bachelor
Gabby cries because she gets compared to Rachel. Has a hissyfit and gets the rose ceremony changed.
Come to find out Rachel gets rejected too. So it’s not like all men are for Rachel either.
She put her rejection above others rejection. In her mind being rejected says something negative about her…. But what happens when Rachel is rejected to right in front of her? To me that puts you on an even playing field Your feelings aren’t more important than someone else’s.
These chicks want to be desired by everyone it seems
the producers are doing gabby and rachel so wrong it’s hard to watch
This has got to be hard 🥺
