- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Street Fighter video game character "M. Bison." From his debut in "Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior" as an overly ambitious young martial artist originally known as Vega, trading his morals for power when he destroyed his master after receiving the dark side of "Soul Power" energy known as "Psycho Power," becoming one of the premiere fighters on the planet who was only equaled by the Ansatsuken fighting style practiced by Ryu and Master Gouken, building the evil Shadaloo organization to help in his campaign for global domination, to coveting the shadowy and powerful "Satsui No Hado" energy that sleeps within Ryu; Let's take a look at this powerful Street Fighter supervillain, and one of the most iconic playable bosses in video game history. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

Victor would be my choice because of his intellect and mastery of both technology and magic. Bison is the superior fightet, but Victor is a superior master. In today's episode of weird but true: His name was Vega, but lost in translation from the Japanese port. M.Bison, a play on Mike Tyson, was originally the Boxer's name.
His name was Balrog which means devil. Vega was Vega.. M. Bison is Tyson
So his full name should be Vega.M Bison

The change occurred due to the controversey surrounding Mike Tyson at the time, so they diverted any alusion to him by switching the names around so that the Boxer wasn't called Mike Bison.

His weight and height varies because he switches bodies 🙄 It's slightly annoying
It depends on what body he is using as M Bison actually has spare bodies.
Alpha series he had a stockier shorter build, that was destroyed in an explosion
he then had a thinner quicker body in SF 2.
SF4 I believe he also had a different body after Akuma destroyed his previous one in SF2
SFV his current body is old and eventually dies, but he may be residing in Ed’s.
Nah, in Street Fighter Alpha, it was his original body and it was exactly 6 feet until he destroyed it from powering up more than his body could handle. SF2 was a slimmer, weaker body at exactly 5'11 till he was technically sucker punched to death by Akuma. SF4 was an even weaker body than SF2 that was also around 5'11, but he settle for it to stop Seth and carry out his plans. SF5 is the same body as the one in 4 but decaying due to the effects of psycho power, explaining the white hair. Currently after 5, Bison is in Astral form attempting to take either Ed's or Falke's body to carry on with his plans.

I heard that the names for Bison and Balrog were supposed to switch because M. Bison was supposed to be a hint at M. Tyson.
Is true M bison original name is Vega in Japanese and balrog is M bison but when it comes to US, Capcom America did the switch because Mike Tyson was in trouble for beating up his wife

5 '11 and 250 pounds is a brickhouse. To me it just adds more character to him rather than the typical "I'm the boss, so I'm the largest." It really shows how powerful he is for giant dudes like balrog and sagat to obey him

For the record M.Bison is a psychopath who is pure evil and he's just plain bad, bad, bad. M.Bison always serves as the final boss in almost every Street Fighter game in the Street Fighter franchise. Even though he's a villain of pure evil and a complete monster he would hit a girl. Even though he's very iconic, immensely powerful, and no matter how many times he's destroyed he always comes back thanks to the psycho power he possesses and controls. Let's not forget that M.Bison is so powerful he has such a big set of dangerous moves.

Bison is basically just pure evil, without any mitigating moral ambiguity or redeeming characteristics. His only goal is to cause as much misery to others as he can to boost his supernatural power. His original name in the Japanese version is Vega.

M. Bison was found and raised by gypsies and was taught Soul Power. After years of training, he abandoned his "soul" or his humanity in order to obtain his true power, which became known as "Physcho Power". Rose is what became of his goodness and humanity. Sound familiar ? That's why I think there's a strong connection to the Satsui No Hado. I think Ryu is the humanity that was cast off by Gouki.

Shin Vega/The Dictator is truly a modern day Sith Lord with Psycho Power being another name for the Dark Side of the Force. He's my favorite video game antagonist.
