Oh my goodness! My mind is blown right now! 😅 I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with those checklist pages. LOVE how you write out the lesson numbers and check that off! Genius!

I love the idea of keeping track of the lessons - that would be so helpful! I have been opening up each child's individual book and trying to keep track that way, lol! 😅 This is going to be soooooo much easier! Thank you!

Hey Dina, this was so uplifting to watch. Your planner is beautiful. I like how you male it work for you. The pouch at the end is great! I totally agree on what you said about loving posative quotes but it's empty without adding Jesus. We all want more joy and happiness in our lives and that comes from Him. Love your heart.

I also don't do much of "on this day we'll do this lesson" type of planning. We also use curriculum, so each day is pretty much just...turn to the next lesson, or work on the next day in the schedule. I do reverse planning a lot for my toddler's activities, so I can rotate through different types of activities, but for the older kids, I just date their pages when I check them. Those stickers with scripture are so cool! I had a mini happy planner for two years and I really liked it. Such a pretty design!! The reading log pages are so cool!

I hardly ever plan more than a few days or a week ahead and always loosely. I go through seasons too over planning and reverse planning.

This was sooo relatable Dina! I was saying “yes girl!” when you were talking about the domino effect of planning in detail. I don’t care for the kind of planning either. I keep a running record of what we complete each day and have a basic “pace guide” like you mentioned. That way I’ll know about how much we need to be completing each week. I also tend to use my phone and large wall calendar quite a bit. Thanks for sharing how you plan, I’ll check out some of the other ladies videos. 🤗 Have a great weekend! 💕
Thanks Deanna! Yes, I use my phone a lot! Mostly because things come to mind right because I fall asleep. 😜 Then I don't wanna get up to write it down.

I’m a happy planner too- I adapt everything for my homeschool too. I actually have two... one family/life planner, one hs planner and then I have a hp notebook for my faith planner section. I frankenplanned plan them together with 6 months of each. I love your homemade bookmark!!! I love a happy notes for faith because I’m not limited to planner spaces. I can mix devo journaling, sermon notes, book notes and random extras. I do artsy journaling sometimes...sometimes I just do plain writing. I have school and seasonal stickers for my homeschool planner and themed stickers that match my home/life planner for that section too. I backwards plan my school section too! I have graduated 2 of my kiddos, I only have my 8th grader left this year.
Using a HP notes for a faith journal is a wonderful idea!!! ❤

Yes! I forgot to mention why I love it so much! It's because I can move things around! Bring the things I use most to the front or take things out I don't need. SUPER flexible! 🤓❤

I love your style! Your attendance tracker is beautiful! I plan in a similar way, I use daily checklists after the fact instead of lesson planning. I also use the dashboard layout and designate the dashboard side boxes per kids and the days as memory keeping or important dates. :)

Ty 4 ur vids i will deff subscribe i need more support with my homeschooling journey. Mostly bcuz my bf and his family who we r around most of our time r all against homeschooling and idky they only ever talk about socializing and thinking he wont learn wat he needs. Its disheartening sumtimes but i push through and know that we my son and i can do this. And sumtimes just watching a vid of another mom helps me so much.

I have homeschool boys and my daughter is public school so I think making my own is the only way that will work for me

I found the modern farmhouse planner! Classic size. So I have question. I purchased printables from Etsy but I don’t know which size to print for the classic. It says a4 and a5 options....can you help me? And there are options that day left or right. Not sure what that means....
So sorry! I just saw this! It should say CLASSIC HAPPY PLANNER on there. The A4 and A5 are European document measurements. You can also just try to scale it down using the settings on your printer.

What kind of paper do you use for the pages that aren’t from the planner?
I used cardstock because I knew it needed to hold up for the entire year. 😊❤
What size did you print the year at a glance calendar to have it fit your HP?
It came already sized with cutting marks to trim it down. But I think 75% is about the right size to print so it fits. 😉
