Nope, much better to focus on damage instead. Bolt has a low gcd and vct can be solve by just dex, costumes and enchants (dex) and cards. Gravity grip is still the best in slot. 😁
if you want to change the medal of heroism to medal of wisdom then you can buy war badge at nyan berry shop consumables. personally i never buy it so i dont know if it will work but the description did say it can be used to exchange the lvls of medal heroism and wisdom.

matk is the best option for sage if you're going for bolter build.

There's no way to reset medals. Hope they can add it in the future.
