It’s expensive for brides side to make arrangements as per guests numbers expected. Sometimes they take huge loan to please grooms side & guest for food & events. In my friends wedding, loads of youngsters ate lot of food, stole gifts,etc. Uncle had to face embarrassment in the shaadi event as food was made as per the specific number of guests, plates used etc. they saw it on video camera later about uninvited young boys. Bride side don’t want to create drama in front of real guests and groom family so they don’t even tell these party crashers. so unless you really in need, please respect that. Budha baap aur parivaar mehnat se kama kar arrangemt karta hai. Aap masti ke liye mat kijiye. Bechari my friend had to hear so much from her in-laws after shaadi about khana kam pada, aisa kaisa arrangemt tha ki gifts chura le gae, etc. Respect kijiye logo ki.
Hat's off to you for bringing this up . I was shocked looking at the comments. I thought she will get negative comments but it's opposite everyone are praising her and her confidence. And so many people sharing their story. Seriously it's a shame. They should go to temple for free food not in weddings.
