It's ironic how bloods being outnumbered in Cali, they go through this and can talk about it and get respect for it. But us crips in NY, we go through the same shit as bloods in Cali prisons, and we can't talk about it, or people think we are soft or something.
As an NYC crip since 1997 at the age of 15, I went to the pen just as I turned 18. After coming out the box/SHU in 2000, they sent me to Auburn maximum facility, which was a blood jail where they tried to murk all crips.
I was on the yard being the ONLY CRIP in the entire jail and the entire yard, with hundreds of bloods in the jail!
I was also in a cell block with all bloods, and me being the only crip. Needless to say, they tried to cut and stab me within 2 days of me being in the jail, since bloods and crips in NY pens go to war. However, bloods outnumbered us like 10 to 1!
Saying all that to say; what BJ went through, and what lots of bloods in LA spots go through, EVERY CRIP IN NYC who ever gets locked up, goes through that!
But for some odd reason, if we talk about it and about how we got jumped or cut or stabbed, we are pussies as NYC crips. But when you're the only crip on a tier or in a cell block with all bloods, tell me how TF you supposed to win?
