Let’s bear in mind that Hank is a TV character. He’s tall, good looking, and has a legion of writers to give him the perfect line for every scenario.
He's not that tall. He just appears taller. Yes it's a TV show and might be a bit exaggerating. However you don't have to be as witty as Moody to be successful with women. Most men in the real world suppress they thoughts and words when they are with women, especially hot ones. These men are widely called "nice guys".. Moody is a good bad boy who got the balls to take risks. And I know a lot of really handsome guys who barely get women. Or they end up in an unfulfilled relationship with a woman way under their league, physically. She puts him down and makes sure he never finds out how to embrace his potential.

Analyzing nothingness. The last time I saw videos like this. I was 20. The only thing I have learnt now is every woman is an individual. Sense of humor, good conversation, good physique, looks and success can take you a long way.
There's one problem with this entire 'game' thing. What happens after the bedroom?
Hank is Hank, and he's naturally articulate and funny. He doesn't care. He isn't playing a 'game'. Heck he either assumes he will get laid again in the future because he's had this evidence handed to him over and over in life, or he actually doesn't care because at the end of the day Karen is the one he loves and everything in between is just a snack.
Lets face it, I can imagine women find him attractive. He's entertaining and funny. He's fun to be around. He's got good physique. He's very respectful of women, even if he or they sometimes misread the situation.
Altering your attitude to 'score' girls makes you extremely fake. If anything, be the best version of you. Have fun in life, try to not 'need' anything (I think this is not 'cool', rather healthy for a person) and take care of yourself. The best way to get a person to notice you is to already be having a great time and be approachable. When you are having an exciting life, you don't 'need' to ''score', and the paradox in that is that all that actually makes you much more attractive even if you don't care.

The thing of Hank was that we was natural and treat every woman differently, seperately as they suppose to be treated being one of a kind, individual. Learning/teaching some tips how to attract a a woman or man is just a proof you treat them all the same. Maybe you get laid a few times but never be seriously respected by a woman. You can spend 1k$ for a hair dresser, clothes and perfume but you will be simply the target as you treat your "targets" as well.

Bruh, I love the character and your analysis, HOWEVER the conclusions drawn are far too general. The whole point is that there is not any secret to attracting women. Hank is king Midus, he loathes himself because he knows that the shiny prize will only hurt him which is evident if you simply played the entire earlier clip about women being his life's work. It ends " ...But then there's the morning after. The hangover, and the realization that I'm not quite as available as I thought I was the night before. And then she's gone. And I'm haunted by yet another road not taken." Hank also says "The person that I want to have everything to do with, wants nothing to do with me." Referring to Karen of course, the reason why he doesn't actually want that sales woman. Hank epitomizes himself in one scene while he is a professor. He says "It is possible that longing for something is better than actually having it. I’ve heard it said that satisfaction is the death of desire" which he says in front of Karen who walks up to him and calls him out because it was infact Hank who wrote that in one of his books.
My entire point is that using a complex, dichotomous character like Hank to give dating advise is completely misleading unless you only watched clips of the show. It's a preditory way to suck lonely people into the idea that a person should fake who they are like those axe wearing DBags that have airport hotel classes on the same topic.
If you really wanted to help boys become men (and for anyone still reading that wants real life advise from someone who lived this change more or less and isn't a pretty boy hired to sell this BS) i have two points from the show for you.
1) Hank is always a gentleman but not just to ladies. Don't push him though. He hates exactly this kind of garbage.
2) Richard Bates says it best when he is teaching. "Use every chance you get children. Do not deny yourself, follow every instinct. Then sit down and write about it, but do not get up until you expose yourself." He is talking about being a writer, don't ever expose yourself to attract a date. The point he is making is live life, and grow from what you learn. Approach every person with a desire for connection on any level not just carnal urges, that's a social trap and will only turn to ash in your mouth. As you meet people unfamiliar with you and love, like, hate, get heartbroken by, only then will you understand how to use what you have to attract what you want. Talk to women like you talk to anyone, its instinctual, the rest you already know.

It's fiction but there are writers and there are writers. Good ones have an masterful understanding of human dynamics, it's their profession. Of course in real life it's never going to be as smooth but it is an excellent medium to display the core fundamentals.

I know Hanks loves women and treat them respectfully and like a gentleman, and yes he is just himself having fun interactions with them, teasing them, and doesn’t expect to hookup.. Stumbled upon this video and channel by accident while watching Californication clips. As a former "player" back in my 20s, this advice is partially true and partially BS. A new woman you suddenly meet (wherever it may be) judges you in 2.5 seconds - your height, demeanor, look, etc. It all has to fit her own internal narrative of "who" she will talk to. If you pass the "test", its only then that what you say will dictate the outcome. If she's not "into" your presence, you're shut down before you open your mouth. I've learned this over and over in bars, clubs and everywhere else, by saying the same casual stuff to many different types of girls and getting wildly different results, depending on if I was her type or not.
Bottom line is that David Duchovny is an immensely gifted actor with just the right look and charisma (hence his fame and accolades), and needless to say his lines are written by pro writers, and all are perfection. Unless you posses all of the preceding, these empty actions will not work, and you will not have the "right" lines at exactly the right moment. Better approach - quit being a pickup artist, and just be yourself. I've dated mostly 8s, 9s and 10s by just being authentic and accepting rejection when its not right. Don't "game" the approach - its lame, and will fail.

the californication one is a bit of a stretch. the reason she's attracted to him is because he's exceptionally handsome and rich. everything else just falls in place.
