I want to watch this asap. Evangelion has a nod to this when they detect an attacking Angel.

Nice re-visit on this overlooked film, Titan. It certainly wasn’t what i was expecting going in, but i definitely appreciate it for the message it conveys.

I watched this for the first time a couple days ago and me and my brother actually noticed the similarities to Shin Godzilla In more ways than one. You could really see the impact Kihachi Okamoto had on Anno as a film maker

    A wonderful review Davis!
May this review also inspire others not to hate something they at first don't understand.
Using your brain is not that difficult. You showed this and it is my hope that more people will follow this lead.
I don't think it has something to do with age or knowledge or taste. It is, in my perception, just the matter of accepting things as they are.
Of course, the topic of taste is the most individual topic. But if you are using your brain, with your knowledge, your experience and the willingness to overcome problems, nothing will really hurt you.
Blue Christmas is as you said, an important movie. Not only for Tokusatsu, but for our nature as humans.
I see this movie as timeless, because the problems it addresses can be applied today. Maybe even more than in the closing 1970s.
In this sense, I wish everyone Merry Christmas, Happy holidays and a happy new year of 2023!
