I agree, after hearing a minute of the song, I paused the vid, went and downloaded the original “Africa”, and a few of the remixes. Not sure if I downloaded this version, great remix.
I just built my first kit (scx10ii) and soldered for the first time. I wish I knew about the pliers trick with the rubber bands! Looking forward to the next video!
Dear HPI, BRING BACK THE NITRO VERSION!!!!!! I alredy own 1 but i kinda wish for good part support not to mention upgrade parts allowing me to do dumb stuff like fitting 5.2 engine in it xD
I love these videos but I kinda ruined R/c for myself.. been into the hobby since 1997 and was primarily into Tamiya, HPI and Yokomo in the early 2000s. After I bought all the latest and greatest gear, cars and accessories, hop ups etc etc, a car below pro level just doesn’t interest me.. I want to find something that’ll make me happy again but I haven’t found that chassis. Lol im weird
I got this car and can’t get it to stay straight. Idk what else to try without using stabilization control. But I have to ask for 174$ what makes that servo even worth all that money?
King Nica you don’t need a $174 Servo to go straight. What you’ll want is a digital servo - even as little as the Savox 1257tg. It’s about $65 and it digital, so it’s always tracking center
For the price ($139 at the time of this posting) it's not too bad. Sure, it's entry level with a lot of plastic, but add on a body/wheels/tires of your choice and you have a great looking car
adam2234 I haven’t kept specific track, but literally a couple weeks after the end of this build off, HPI announced they were in full bankruptcy proceedings in the UK. Most of the people that did work for HPI were released and I think the final chapter in HPI’s saga has been written.
What electronics would you install in this??
Shoehorn a 2200 and run 6s😁
8.5t sensored on 2s
Boy that music sure brings me back! I'm definitely feeling a little old these days. Another great video can't wait to see more
yeah, I'm a 80's kid!

Yep, great little trick
Thanks to your first build video I went looking and found the HPI RS4 Sport 3 Ford GT Heritage Flux. Box stock it rocks!
Nice! Glad to help
Grip or Drift! I must know! Great video Rich.
RCDriver_Online thanks Greg! Not gonna tell....🤓
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Grift?
i want to see it as a touring car, speed is more fun tha the drift deal
I just built my first kit (scx10ii) and soldered for the first time. I wish I knew about the pliers trick with the rubber bands!

Cool, glad to share the trick! Stay tuned on the series - every week during February
Great video Rich! Looking clean! Can’t wait to see next weeks video!
Thanks Joe! Even cleaner in the next video......and maybe even my direction with the car
Hobby wing and Turnigy seems to make really good product. Good vid, looking forward to next one.
Hobbywing is the largest company of RC electronics... Most of the RTR electronics are rebranded Hobbywing products...
Bill Johnson yep, HW does some great products. The Xerun and EZRun line are great mid level and pro level components.

Is a 5.2 engine a .18 class (like .12, .21)?
@@alb9022 Its .32 and it looks like nuclear powerplant(lrp .32) xD Tbh it was a joke but i would gladly put .21 into this car.
@@Ev0ltion Ahh, yeah that would be kinda amusing to see. Probably wouldn't move due to the weight if the drive train isn't up for it xD
@@alb9022 .32 isnt so much heavier but it looks rl massive. I currently use it in my savage and let me tell you this engine got some serious power.
Are high end servos like Futaba's even worth putting into something like an HPI?
It's the only "extra" servo I have at the time.... lol
@@TheRCNetwork Fair enough ^.^
Nice build
What kind of double sided tape do you use
I use standard 3M clear silicon tape you can find at Depot or Target
great song ...i go for drift
Troy rcman thanks Troy. I thought it was fitting considering all the rain SoCal has gotten lately.
Will u ever build a mst rmx ?
I've looked into MST.....but not lately
You should the rmx 2.0 is great drift chassis
@@joshkboy1333 I second that, love mine
The RCNetwork yes do it I have to build mines
I need advise on a decent motor and ESC for my MST RMX for drifting ?

Integra DIY The RCNetwork has done that to me as well....but projects like these really bring the “builder” out in me.
Get back to the grassroots of what interested you in the hobby all those years ago!!! 😊
in the battery area, does that spacer come out in front?
Yes, it's used to move the battery either forward or aft to adjust weight bias

Rich, what is your honest opinion this far with this entry level chassis?

Toto - África 😃😁😄 🎤❤️
I love RS4 SPORT 3 is Amazing
Is good RS4 👍
does this kit come assembled??
43rocket yep, sure does. I always thought a kit was Unassembled until I got this
Grippin' and rippin'.
Possibly...
Why are all the parts for this car so hard to get? :(

Haha. You and your knives

cool
Thanks Tyler!
reuse the bullets man recycle
Most of the time, the solder they use is crap....hard to deal with.
