These videos demotivate me more than anything, I've been trying for years to come up with the simplest of melodies and here with a little talent and some simple progressions everything sounds epic, I guess we're not all musicians...
Keep trying fam. For some just come more naturally but nothing you can't improve with honest, councious, consistent practice and correct guidance. Look for tutorials about music theory, pentatonix scales, etc. Listen trance daily and try to emulate riffs changing the harmonic circles. Just keep going. You'll figure it out.
Start with a bass progression then have the lead on every other note and just move them around till they sound good. dont overthink it.
