Hey Maddy, I think you absolutely could. You could knit with 2 strands at once (make your yarn about 1/2 the thickness), or change between colours for different sections.
Hi 👋🏻 I’m new to ur Channel as I was looking for tutorial on how to make a huge clutch! I love what you did!!!👏🏻👏🏻 Would you also be able to share on how to make a big purse 👛 slightly bigger and longer in size than what you did here? ❤️
Hiiii! Can i crochet this instead? Do you think its possible? I am new to crochetting and can you say in approx how much grams of yarn did she used? Please help this sister out please!🙏
Hey, Sorry I missed your questions. You could absolutely crochet this or something similar, I am not much of a crochet girl but there are some great crochet artists on here if you have a search around. This little clutch took just over one large t-shirts worth of yarn if that helps yarn wise.
Hey there, to make your bag bigger you would just start with more stitches and then knit more rows. It is very stretchy though so carrying a lot of heavy stuff in there would stretch it out a lot. The construction method may not be as successful in a larger model :) Good luck
To make a larger base you would just knit additional rounds knitting into the sides of the stitches at the corners before you began just knitting each stitch to work your way upwards :)
You could use this method to make a blanket by just working back and forward like the first 2 rows in the bag. Just decide how many stitches wide you want your blanket and then you are away. This would make a pretty heavy blanket :)
Hey there, thanks :) I made the t-shirt yarn, I made it extra chunky at about 2 inches wide. This project takes approx 2 t-shirts. I made the blue one out of a long sleeveless dress.
Hey Veronica, I am sure that you probably could but it is definitely not my area of expertise. I think you would have to rework the pattern quite significantly to use a thinner yarn.
I am sure you could. This one took a little over 1 t-shirts worth. There are loads of great crochet artists on here, have a search around and see what you can find :)
Thank you so much for teaching me how to make a clutch purse it took a lot of work but it was worth it TFS ❤️😍
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much! My first ever tshirt yarn project. It turned out so beautiful ❤
Wonderful!
Hello! Loved this video so much, is it possible to add multiple colours into something like this? Using 2 different balls of yarn?

Could I use regular yarn with this project?
Hey, regular yarn wont work for this one. it is the thickness of the material that allows the stitches to stay in place without needles.
Interesting. Could u do a tutorial using this method. to make a blanket thank u

very cute! Did you buy the t-shirt yarn, or make your own?

@@threadfactionstudio8892 Thanks Lucy! they are adorable :-)
If i want to use a needle and make it then which size needle would you recomend ?
Hi, I am sorry, I have not tried this with needles but you would need thick ones, perhaps as thick as your thumb. Cheers, Liz
can you do a purse with normal yarn and needles??
Hey Veronika, I am sure it can be done, but I don't work with regular needles and yarn sorry :)
Hi can you do one with needles!! And normal cotton yarn?
