Went to this resort in 2017, you are absolutely right about the smell in the lobby it's amazing. One of the nicest resorts I've ever stayed at
They sold that scent in their gift shop funny enough
The Imperial Band is really good to go listen after 9:00 at the Plaza. You can call for the golf carts and pick them up at the front of your building and at a couple spots near the check in. The are everywhere so you don't have to walk far.
Of the restaurants you reviewed were they all included in the all inclusive package or did you pay extra for any of them?
All included!
I wondered this also. So anything you order or drink in these restaurants are all included? At the end of the meal do you have to pay for anything?
@@TurkeyDart everything is included other than at some restaurants they serve lobster that will be added onto bill if you ask for it
Excellent videos of Valentin Imperial! We are making our second trip there coming up this March. Would you comment on what to "tip" for different services at the Riviera Maya? Always a gray area for me. Just just don't want to go over board or be labeled a tight wad.
We honestly just made up our own! $1 or $2 for drinks by the pool/beach. $5 at lunch and $10 at dinner. We would make exceptions if the waiter/server was really great and would give more! We also left some for the house cleaner each day. Hope that helps!
I see very good reviews of this resort but from the videos I've seen it looks like you don't see the ocean from the pools or anywhere other than maybe the one restaurant by the beach. Is that the case? Also do they have name brand/premium liquors there?
Yes to name brand liquors. Also, there are several room options that have ocean/beach views as well as the restaurant on the beach.
