I believe it can certanly replace the first 4-5 hours of training. Just like an RC model can teach numerous things about how an airplane works. But "teach" as in "replace" = no way. For wxample = If you take off overweight you and the passengers are going to die. If you fly into a storm, same. If you can not find the airport and run out of gas, etc etc.

@@dimitristripakis7364 Definitely, knowledge wise, the simulator is sufficient, but practical skill requires a real plane
