I had those they are terrible. They take over everything. Trust me it’s so hard to get rid of them and every critter hides in them. Ps. Your orchids are awesome. I love rescues. ❤

This plants are like ground cover plants and they spread very quickly
I did notice that they were not there one day and the next day my yard was full of them lol! 😂
Melissa i have those purple plants and know them as oyster plants but that could be a misnomer. Anyway, they are sort of easy to propagate but you have to be super careful because they break easily. they are usually interconnected like a rhizome. they seem to take any growing conditions here in central west coast florida.

Hi Melissa, don’t your phals rot when you mount them right side up? I lost all my phals to rain last winter because they rotted the crown. I’ve heard but haven’t tried mounted them upside down or on their side. Thanks for sharing

I am going to be honest with you. I have lost a few, but the majority when they attach kind of adjust their selves and end up drooping on their own. Sometimes I feel it’s like survival of the fittest and they know what to do. I have tried to put them at an angle.
