Hi, that was pretty interesting video / comparison I have almost similar setup Ibook G4 with 10.5 Macbook Core2duo + Imac core2duo 10.6 HPMini 102 or 110 Thinkcentre P4 2.4g?? The HP mini or netbook, has a beautiful screen, it did have win 7 home on it, but the hdd was very slow, i placed a SSD in it and installed Linux Mint V17 - it has run flawlessly last 4 years Also it has a SD card slot and it can boot from it - so i used a 4g card with dos 6.22 and it has every dos program and game i own - i run most dos games on it, but for doom and a few other games where sound is important, i run that on dos box The thinkcentre is dual boot dos 6.22 and Win XP, it also has a floppy , so it is my intermediate machine i can grab files of my lan and asve them on 3.5 floppy to use on older retro machines Ibook G4 is just set up as OEM ibook for period PPC software, i did install REFI and used a PPC version of Linux but one day it played up and since i used that machines say 2 or 3 times a year for youtube i just got rid of the dual boot and reclaimed the partition - Office 2004 The macbook and imac are from the days when work did not want to use windows PC's due to XP and Win7 virus ( both directors laptops and mail server were compromised ) Engineers and accounts and reception were moved to macs - i totally hated it at the time (2006) but our accounts program was dual media Windows and Mac, so my work PC had no outside world connection just Myob and office ( email was not configured ) When the Macs were about 8 years old they were given out to staff, so i ended up with 2 free macs - my wife was happy because the laptop was stored in a draw and used as necessary and the Imac took little desk space and had mainly well hidden cables - Office 2008 I dont think i have touched any of those older 4 machines in the last 6 months - something to do over xmas break
Very interesting results. Besides the GPU, the Eee PC has the better specs, at least on paper. I wonder how it would perform the same tests under Mac OS X (is it possible to Hackintosh it?) Also, it's specs are very similar to the Core Solo Mac mini, so I guess that's the kind of performance one can expect out of the mini?
Man this reminds me having a netbook (HP Mini 110? N270, Windows 7 Starter) and it played flash games faster than my father's iBook G3 (and sometimes 08 Macbook)

Flash on OS X was always a bit of a clusterf*ck, didn’t ever work well, especially on PowerPC.
