but input lag must be awful at this framerate
@@theanglerfishyep, it is like that. Testing Forspoken with FG sure improves FPS a lot, but for the input lag you need a base of more than 40 FPS or close to 60.
There is so much old hardware can do, and the GTX 960 is weaker than the PS4 Pro.

even ryzen 3 3200g vega 8, 8gb ram with no GPU can play this. I just had my first 5 hours of gameplay to this game on my cousin's pc with no GPU and APU only

it's a ps4 game, director's edition doesn't have any upgrades. Not to mention ps4 only had dynamic resolution with checkerboarding, fsr3 sure is helping the case here (with massive downsides you can't see (input lag)). It's not well optimized, it's literally old. It actually ran like ass on the base ps4 too so, this game is let alone optimized not even suitable for the console it was made for. It's just that gtx960 is way more powerful than what ps4 has in it. Not to mention tons of bugs it has, this is not optimized nor is it a good port, for something that took 4 years to come out, I'd actually call it underwhelming
@@thedude3005 well its running smooth on me for only having 8gb of ram. That's enough for me to call it well optimized
they definitely should ask for 970-Ti ish performance tier as a minimum but even on low it looks good i can play like that but not under 40fps
Well, the base PS4 can play it...and that is only a bit better than a 750 Ti.
@@takehirolol5962 that is a good message i wanted to try it on PS4 but i have pro version i think but i rather have regular version because it generates a lot of heat🥵
I can say also my GTX 1630 can run this game on lowest settings, sooo. :D

Do not understand how a game from 2020 takes so much to run properly. Its mostly bad optimisation from all that I have seen tbh
I would not say a GTX 960 is much for 2024, also a Ryzen 3 1200. :/

I5-8400 and it struggles to even run this game above 30 fps..
Are you drivers up to date?
I've tested my GTX 1630 and got with FSR Quality over 30 FPS.
@@Beisepimp yup it's up to date, I can run games like cyberpunk 2077 and rdr2 smoothly high frames and high graphics just fine, it's just ghost of tsushima I can barely run and amd fsr upscaling makes the graphics look so blurry even on quality mode
For me it doesnt work even tho i do got minimal requirements
Does the game crash or what is not working?
The 960 is targeted at 720p not 1080p.
fsr makes it render in 720p but upscales it to 1080p with minimal fps loss.

@@furion2824 1080p with fsr works too which looks much better than raw 720 p
As mentioned , the quality on a 1080p monitor is better when you are using 1080p with FSR on Quality. :-)
@@Beisepimp i agree, dlss makes it bit softer becuase it is aimed to work better on higher resolutions but fsr 3 increases quality and makes it look bit more crisp, although there is minor fire ghosting which is hard to notice while normal gameplay
i know i can i use a ryzen 5 5600 non xt and i use a rx 6600 non xt i use 16 gb ram so i know i can blow it out of the water and get 120 fp

Man if only Capcom could refund me cuz ghost of tsushima is my goty on pc and just seeing how well GhostT is optimized is funny in comparison to a brand new game like dogwater 2
