You have a weakaura that replaces blizzards original timer with a more modern one that live tracks count as you've pulled them (its on the right side of his screen in this video above his Details) There is also a addon called Mythic Dungeon Tools, in which you can see all the count that each individual mob gives and the abilities they have. Hope this comment helped you out
Slight correction: The "boss buffed" aka Energy Surge on second boss / The Raging Tempest does not affect it's ability damage, so there is no need to commit extra defensives if it overlaps with the explosion. The Energy Surge buff only affects it's auto attacks aka the tank damage.
