The concert was in Poland 2012. There were about 750 000 People. You should see sabaton Uprising from this concert and 40:1

Depending on who you ask, there were between 500 and 750 thousand people at the festival, and Sabaton was the main act.
And yes, they keep it up until the last track... there are some slower tracks tho, and a power ballad that let's him catch his breath.
They usually play an oldie (2005), "Primo Victoria", as an oncore, that's after about 12 songs.
During half that song the lead singer, and also (sometimes) all the guitarists, are jumping up and down with the audience at 140 bpm or there about.
Recommendations #TheAttackOfTheDeadMen #TheLionFromTheNorth ... and the power ballad: "En Livstid I Krig" (Activate the subtitles since it's in Swedish, and no you should not do the English version) ua-cam.com/video/WBs3G1PvyfM/v-deo.html

"there are some slower tracks tho, and a power ballad that let's him catch his breath"
I think also during the guitar/drum solo's he goes off stage to drink some water, or beer you never know with Joakim, and take a breather probably. Only logical explanation I can think of about what he does when he goes off stage.

One of the best ways to get to know the singer as well as the bassist is to check out their Sabaton History channel on UA-cam. A historian breaks down the historical background of each song while band members talk about the music.

Another huge fantastic band from europe that plays to massive crowds also they have their own military history channel on youtube .Floor has remarked more than once about the amount of sabaton discs and plaques adorning the walls dwarfing her own at her and Hannes's home studio . When NW did a gig in sweden Hannes picked he up after in his Tank hows that for a show of strength ,Hands off she's mine LOL. Try "Bismarck" by Sabaton you wont regret it .

They are from Sweden (Nightwish from our neighbor Finland :)), they sing about military history but, also heroism and other historic aspect`s.
My favorite songs are Bismarck, En livstid i krig (a lifetime of war), Carolus Rex, Last stand, Final solution (very dark), 82nd All The Way.

Awesome! Suggestions: Union, Cliffs of Gallipoli, 82nd all the way, Devil dogs. Gott mit uns. Long live the king. Stalingrad. Hearts of Iron. Attero Dominatus. Soldier of three armies. etc etc It doesnt really matter, I could go on forever... Most of their stuff is fantastic, especially regarding the lyrics and the story telling.

also Sabaton are about the only band who can get a Polish crowd hyped up with a song about a German Panzer Division, having said that I believe the Poles all but adopted Sabaton after they released the song 40-1 about the Polish defence against the German Invasion.
Hrm for Sabaton songs to check out, you could also check out the two updated Yarnhub animated video's which also go into a bit of the history behind what the song it about.

If you like history I assume you know that this song is about the german 7th Panzer Division. They earned the name Ghost Division during the battle of France due to high speed and surprise they where consistently able to achieve. Erwin Rommel was their commander during the battle of France.

Sabaton are Beasts on the Stage. Maybe they are even this centuries Iron Maiden, I dont know. For sure they are great!
But all of their famous Songs come with a History, and that History is about War. And it were real Humans fighting and dying.
So a Song can be nice to listen and a Story can be important to be told, but its not necesary the Same.
    But there is one.
A Song about the 30 Years War. About Men who fought far away from Home and died there. A Song about the Question: "Who will mourn for me?".
By a Swedish Metal Band and in Gothenburg, Sweden.
    Best Crowd ever:

    Thanks for Reading

Sabaton is a live band, just like Nightwish. Somehow theese two bands seem to age their music like cheese - its get better all the time, and you know for sure that ghost love score sounds like shit compared to live with Floor. shes so much better than Tarja and Anette, most bands die when they change their singer but Nightwish became better.
