I had a 2 wheel truck, for a long time. I drove this truck every where, deflating your tires help with traction in mud, sand, and snow. Happy new year!
That's my old stomping ground! Truly making it up the hill is the worst! My family is in Heber/Overgaurd! Thank you for sharing! Beautiful and I miss it so much!
Yah eh teh from us, wife was chearing for you to cross the mud road. We do the same back home going on muddy road to the house. That is why we came home Friday noon to beat the storm thru Flagstaff..nice video to be stuck in traffic and sing along some tunes....Have a Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 and Happy New Years...
Snow & ice are normal for me, I am from Montana but that mud freaked me out! (btw, we do not deflate our tires in Montana so IDK what that guy was doing) you need to always keep a blnaket, warm shoes and coat, gloves and full tank when traveling in the winter.
I travel that way often. Through the rim. Then from Holbrook to Albuquerque visit family and boogie to Santa Fe to visit more family, then on to Taos to visit friends.
Dah goh teeh from San Carlos. You drove like a champ, forget fast and furious you could have drifted in the mud and snow. Happy you made it home safely. God bless and Happy holidays.
You are brave to drive on the ice and snow! I live in Minnesota and I don't like driving in the winter here. I love George Strait! I have the most unforgettable memory of him kissing me, on the side of my mouth! This was after a concert in Cortez, CO back in 1984.
I am always prepared when I travel. I carry food, water, hot thermals of chocolate and coffee, blankets or sleeping bag, plus chains in winter. Antifreeze etc. I always make sure I fill my car up in each town in winter especially if in snow because of possibility of being stuck in snow storm for a lot more then a couple of hours. Maybe a day or more. Which I have been stuck in.
Ya'at'eeh shi'kis! OMG! Snow I can handle, but Rez roads are really bad. One time my sis and I were in my 4 wheel drive pickup and thank goodness I had brand new studded snow tires on. One part the road was so bad going up hill near the Mesa, I had to actually drive up the rocky wash. Then when we had to get back on the road it goes down this steep part and we were slipping and sliding. But made it down and parked in front on our Che and Shema's home. It was crazy.🤪🙃
Serria thank you so much for sharing that beautiful awesome scenery ,, white all over, just awesome, real Christmas scenery,, glad you made it home safe, thank you again late wishing you a happy merry Christmas
Good grief that was a hard drive. Mud the scariest. Been there. Dine’ women don’t scare easy! I don’t either. I love when you said the snow made your skin look prettier! That was so true! lol! The mud made me worried for you even tho I know you are ok.
You are a brave strong woman. I don't like driving in the snow either. I lived in Texas for a while and a friend there had George Strait for his math teacher back in the day. Before he made it as a singer. Can you imagine.:) Also, he is excellent in concert.
I feel the same about Blakes. Moving to NM in a few months so am happy about that. Love King George as well! Hope your new year is full of good things. Snow is beautiful. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Sierra.. They closed the roads leaving Flagstaff in Phx… luckily I slid into a motel nearby and people to had push my car into a parking space. I spent the night and headed out the next day.
Oh wow! That sounds crazy! Glad you were safe and ended up staying the night. lol Your car made the decision for you to slide in to the parking lot lol
This brought back memories when my 3 kids & l traveled from CO. to IA. & the storm followed us the whole way. It took us 2 days instead of 12hrs but that's another story. Like your humour in the stress time so new subscriber.✌👍🤓
That's wet snow, no need to panic, especially if it's only 1230 in the day, next time you're stopped like that, get out and test with your feet, you'll know if its icy underneath. Just don't hit brakes hard or accelerate, steady as she goes. The mud almost same but just go slow and steady, no need to panic. Just make sure your tires have good tread before trips like that, this storm came from south so it was wet and warm, if it comes from north its usually cold and icy. Preparation for winter driving is a must Sierra, you did good though, just relax, don't friek out, that's when rash decisions and reactions are made😀
I think it rained and snowed the night before so it was a little icy. But I made it through 😃I am calmer when I am with other people. When I am by myself I get a little stressed out haha more white hairs added to my head, I'm sure. 🤣
@@SierraJohnson and I'm the opposite with people, because if anything happens, and I'm driving, their lives are in my hands. But I'm a loner type, preferring to go on trips by myself anyway. 😕 I make better time too👍😀
As long as your car is a front wheel drive you're going to be fine just dont rush stay safe while traveling home! And deflating his tires hes just trying to get more traction! But stay safe out there!!
Glad you made it home, I'm okay in rain n snow, but ice n clay freak me out! I went back to the Rez but went took the freeway thru Flagstaff... made it over the mountain before dark, so no ice. The road was fine to Winslow, Leupp, dirt roads were not muddy... so made it with no problems! It was a good Christmas trip back home!
OMG you went at the right time! I went through about 2 hours before you did... It was about 10 times worse! I went around about 4 Jack knifed semis and helped push 3 trucks up hills that they were sliding on...
Omg, dats was a stressful drive. But for real shout out to jonathan nez.. these are the roads we travel to make it home on the rez. Glad u had a safe trip happy holidays to u and ur family. 💗
Nizhoni, the guy ahead was in a chevy, but you made home safely 👍✌💙 Send one of the selfie on FB 😆... AHÉHEE FOR SHARING YOUR TRIP HOME.. yá'át'ééh keshmish Sierra 🤶🎅💙
Yá'át'ééh... From Phoenix AZ Lol... never did a comment before but love all your videos specially going back to the rez. Ain't no place like home🦅 Yáʼátʼééh Késhmish🎄
I remember those drive through Payson, Heber, and on to Holbrook it's always a challenge to drive through snow pack roads, but of course now days there are front-wheel drives and 4x4s to accommodate your drive... It's very beautiful scenery though 🙂👍 take care
Yes!!! Me too Sierra I am a George Straight fan too. I understand. Fanatics raised by parents and families. I get you. I would love to come too. He is getting old.
Good job on getting home safely! I love snow but I’m the same with driving in snow or icy roads. Wow that’s some muddy clay road as well. Yes, we really need road, bridge repairs all across the Rez. Our roads are falling apart. 😕
Im game...GEORGE STR8...YAH!!! I met him a WR NNF back n da day b4 he hit it BIG...Me & my frenz chilled on his bus. Priceless... beautiful white scenery❄☃️⛄
deflating tires can give more surface area to contact the ground--one of the things that is causing the truck to slide is because the back of the truck is light--he should have weighed down his truck bed.....
Glad you make it home safely. Good job, Sierra and chidi! That one guy's truck had nothing in the back (no weight), so that's why the truck was slippin' and slidin'. My favorite George Strait song is "Easy Come, Easy Go."
Hope you had a Happy Christmas 🎄⛄ day with your family Sierra. That sure was a wicked ride home on Christmas Eve. Glad you made it home safe and sound without misshap.
Very eventful Sierra!! Glad you made it! You had us (Queen G, Jay & I) giggling as you were vlogging while waiting in the snow. The mud tho🤦🏻♀️😱, I hate driving in that in the Rez. Totally brings me back with a lot of memories!!

The guy in front of you was driving a chevy, sent me a picture 😆
Thank you, I was supposed to leave on Friday but had so many things to do before leaving for the week. It was nice to see snow though. 😄
Snow & ice are normal for me, I am from Montana but that mud freaked me out! (btw, we do not deflate our tires in Montana so IDK what that guy was doing) you need to always keep a blnaket, warm shoes and coat, gloves and full tank when traveling in the winter.
And food, a shovel and a warm hat. And keep you cell phone charged.
These jokes! You are your own entertainer! You got me laughing out loud. I might be scaring my dogs. 🤣 I enjoy these videos the best. Thanks. Be safe.

I love me some George too😆and I wanna see him February too🤞🏽

I loved how in the midst of your fear you would stop to notice the beauty around you.
Ya'at'eeh shi'kis! OMG! Snow I can handle, but Rez roads are really bad. One time my sis and I were in my 4 wheel drive pickup and thank goodness I had brand new studded snow tires on. Been to George Strait concert in Vegas in 2019 and was a great concert. You will enjoy his concert.
Yay! I'm excited.
Glad you made home safely god blessed
You made it…should always be prepared for the weather and different situations…especially when you are by yourself. God Bless!
I would go to King George in February. Let's go!
Good grief that was a hard drive. Mud the scariest. Been there. Dine’ women don’t scare easy! I don’t either. I love when you said the snow made your skin look prettier! That was so true! lol! The mud made me worried for you even tho I know you are ok.
“Sirr can you take my picturrrre?.. Ayyyyyyy” 😂 It’s so beautifullllll. I miss the snow ❄️ #PhxAz
Love Cheii man George! He is Vegas now Sierra
HAHAH! I was super close to asking him. 😂😂
You should have asked him!!!! Next time, lol next time 😉
I was on edge, seeing all that ice n snow after Payton. Great to see you made it home safely 👍
So so so beautiful, Nizhona Nizhoni, you be safe and take care of yourself 👍👌🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏
The back of his truck is really light so hard to gain traction if there is no weight in back, deflating does help in mud and sand not sure about snow
Lol Reminds me of when the bus driver chased us to the back of the bus 😂
Love Bosa!!! I don’t know if the one in Mesa is still around. It was on Arizona Ave down by Ray.
Glad you got home ok. Those muddy roads can be tough. 2022 will be your year of finding a great man Sierra! ❤️
Lol! Love it!!
Waah, she's to busy, for fun!!..she doesn't need a Man!😜... he's out there,...yeah right 👍😎.

Happy New Year to you!!! May the new year bring you prosperity and positivity. I love your vlogs!!
