There’s a reason the fog lights are still halogen, and it’s not just cost. As somebody who has driven in a fog, a warmer / yellower light works better because it causes less glare, and the yellow color actually travels further in that condition. Another additional benefit of halogen bulb is heat, which is high enough to melt snow/ice accumulating on it. When the main LED lights are clogged by snow, it’s nice to have another set of lights working until you can clear them out. In short, halogen bulbs are generally the better option in fog lights. You only ever turn on the fog lights in foggy / snowy conditions anyway, so the function is much more important than cosmetic color matching.
Great video. I did mine today but I didn’t have to lift the car and I only took off the front clips and 4 front bolts, that way I didn’t have to remove the whole thing. They’re really easily accessible this way. Took me no less than 15 mins.
Hi I just exchage my foglights with h8 yellow led lights it works pretty well. But I got a fog light warning on my dash. Is there anyway to turn off the warning?

Which bulbs did you get? We never had that problem, but I’ve heard if you get cheap LEDs you get codes

I didn’t know these had halogen headlights at all, if it’s using the standard h11 bulb, yes you can.
