If that fight was anywhere else than England it would have been Ryan Sheehan's win!! What a warrior, had Dan backing off in every round! Dan had a couple of good teeps but Ryan rocked and cut the shit out of him!!!
C Walsh no need to write such things on this it’s disrespectful to both fighters who smashed the shot out of each other for 5 rounds for people’s entertainment, it’s a great fight and very very close! I have t judged it personally and wouldn’t want to, just honoured to have these guys on my show and put on such an amazing fight. And just so you know wether the fight was I. Uk or Ireland it’s the same judges who would have been there as Martin himself also uses the IBMTO who judged this fight. Let’s not put derogatory comments on slagging fighters it’s just not needed and does nobody any good, plus you’re not the one is there bleeding and needing stitches etc so that kind of comment above isn’t required from you. Why for once can’t people just enjoy the fight for what it is? An amazing display from both guys! Also a rematch will happen in Ireland so it’s all good!
I respect what you said and never meant to come across to disrespect any fighter, especially Dan Mcgowan! Ive watched alot of his fights and im a big fan. But in my opinion, and as the video has proved, it seems to me as the crown had influenced the fight in Dans favour. Now im not a judge and never will be, but i do disagree in the unanimous decision. I at least think it should have went to split because I really think Ryan could have won! But thats just my opinion.
C Walsh all that unanimous means is that all 3 judges were in agreement, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a close fight! For all we know it was 49-50 on all 3 score cards meaning Dan won by just a round as it was very close. Unanimous literally just means all judges had the same outcome on the winner!
