Hi. I am coming to Hopkins this fall 2025 as phd student. Is there a nearby grocery store? I see there is a cafeteria monthly fee. Also do you recommend the dorm inside uni or renting an apartment? 🤗 thank you so much for your reply
hi, i only stayed on the homewood campus, so i only know what's nearby there! there's a grocery store near campus called streets market and if you get a meal plan with the school you can use the dining location, charles street market, as well! i am not sure how the grad student dorms are but there are plenty of apartments nearby campus that nice as well. i hope this is helpful!
hmm that’s difficult to say because whether an apartment is cheaper than a dorm depends on location, size, utilities, and roommates! you will have to compare costs and decide what’s best for you!
