That last part, detaching from wanting more for your friends because you aren’t their guardian was me a few years ago! Such an important take away. It was also the main reason why I was having friction with my own friends. I don’t think I was coming from a judgmental point. But definitely was overly invested and cared wayyyyyyyy too much.
Yes this is so key. We all want the best for our loved ones. Who doesn’t? But we are not their parents and some people are just so blind to the fact that they have this energy about them and they want to know everything about people, but they wonder why no one tells them anything and it’s just because they always have a judge mental/opinionated thing to say about their friends and no one wants to share anything with anyone with that type of energy. So I am very proud of you for recognizing that!

I want to share with you a problem. I am a college student 1st year.
There is a girl in our department, she used to be my closefriend, now we are not. So she spread rumors about me. She told everyone in our department not to share any notes / study material to me. And there is not a single one in our class disobey her.
I am just asking , my mental condition is not well. I am suicidal. I suffered from severe depression. But still now I'm surviving my life with the help of , medicine and medication. I don't know what to do in this moment. I started hating my college. Please tell me the solution , it'll be very helpful:)
