    That path from the Sea Wall Hide to Oare is a mud bath in the Winter months. Bring Wellies.

    The explosion at the gunpowder works was in 1916, during the First World War. There is a memorial grave site in the cemetery in Faversham where the majority of the victims were laid to rest.

    Lovely video. How did you reach start point? Also how far was the walk in miles please?

      To reach Conyer we drove and parked on the street, but you can also get a taxi there. You can also walk from Teynham train station, but this will add just over a mile to your walk.
      Conyer to Oare walk was 6.3 miles
