I think grim is an escaped styx project since you can see similarities between his color pallet’s and blue fire, not to mention his affinity for the blot stones, I think he might’ve escaped somehow or was a failed project that got discarded . We also see idia be attracted to grim as well
Idk because if grim was really an escaped styx project then idia would of have immediately kept him for more experiment. Even idia analyzed grim and realized he has layers of complex ancient magic that idia doesn’t even have a knowledge of nor couldn’t he fully learn (I bet his ancestor Aidoneus doesn’t even have a faintest idea of grim) , shouldn’t they have a data of every overblot monsters they kept and listed escaped?
19:32 On Ace setting things off and showing more consideration for yuu- in the book, I think they show his feelings for the main character soooo much better than in game. He's angry with Yuuya (the book Yuu) because he thought he got in for free by causing problems and being demanding while everyone else gets into NRC by working their asses off for it. He had no idea that Yuuya was from another world until later, so he called him out and started insulting him out of nowhere and picked a fight with him because he thought he deserved to be "shot down" for not earning his place like him. When he realizes that Yuuya has nowhere to go if he's kicked out, he struggles to show it, but he feels really apologetic for how he treated him so badly considering Yuuya's pretty much homeless and alone in a weird strange place I think that when we see Ace being nicer to Yuu than he is with others or just generally being really uncharacteristically friendly sometimes, it's partially because he feels bad that he treated them like an asshole and is still trying to make up for it
Aah, it does explain things better. From his dialogue in-game it can somewhat be misintrepreted as a staged facade for me QwQ, like he's using Yuu's vulnerability to make them trust him the most because he's there for them. (And soon stab them in the back lmao /jk)
I honestly believe that in every new timeline, there's a new Yuu. However, the question is why bring a human with no magic and from another world? And I believe how Crowley's role works. Contrary to popular belief, Crows aren't omen of ill fate, but guides that helps souls to cross different realms, the spiritual and physical world. And Grimm which is a direct callback to the Grimm Reaper.
This makes so much sense since Crowley is the headmaster of NRC and during orientation, the new students come inside a coffin, symbolizing their 'death' and then 'rebirth' after they're awake and out of the coffin, it's like Crowley's role is to 'helps souls to cross different realms' like you said
Also helping with the implications of Crowley being a fae: JP server and card spoiler! In his card there is a scene where the staff is eating at a lunch table together and talking. Crewel mentions that “Crowley has stayed the same ever since I attended school here”. It could mean they attended school together but why wouldn’t he say “we”? It heavily implies that Crowley has been head mage at least when Crewel first attended Night Raven College. And that the school is at least over 300-400 years old. I can’t wait for them to just reveal his actual age now.

I honestly LOVED traitor Ace theory as an Ace stan myself. But not in the way he's actually evil, instead, his villainous IS the deceiver. He'll sacrifice and play the villain role somehow to help us, because, well, he's so bad at communicating affection. We might get a shock of him betraying us, but I can feel that he's betraying us for good reasons. OR maybe if he's actually the real puppet in disguise afterall, I hope he get redemption mid all the books he got with Yuu and settle back his plan and side with Yuu instead. Also, my headcanon is that Ace is the fool reversed and MC is the fool upright Kinda like the theory where Ace is Twisted from Alice, and the MC is Alice in the most literal sense. Also, Ace is the first student who MC truly interacted with, their first friend, and one of the only people who has canonically stuck with them the whole time. No shot he doesn’t end up relevant

Malleus' connection to the World tarot also relates to his scheme overall. Reverse world being about no closure, a discontinued journey and stalling describes what he does perfectly to everyone in NRC, where he stalls everyone's lives to be in a standstill within their ideal dreams simply because he can't accept the closure of people moving on away from him
So I think the bleeding "eyeliner" on the possible grim overblot may be like the running eyeliner on Vil's overblot. The netting/lace like Riddle's overblot (he has some lace over his face. it's a little easier to see in the manga!!) may also be what is on the front and right ear of the Chimera monster. I can't see anything that would relate to the dwarf....or perhaps, now this is just a sudden speculation I had. what if Grim's love for eating the stones came from the dwarf? when you first see it, it yell out "Stones....Stones are mine!!!!" which could relate to Grim's feral behavior when it comes to finding the stones (starting in book 5/6. the Pomfiore one). something else that's interesting is the fact that STYX had never found the dwarf since that one was most likely a phantom, but it's probably irrelevant since we likely killed it. (but can they be killed? all the captured phantoms stayed frozen. was this for testing, or was it because they can't actually die?) I haven't finished the video yet so I'm not sure what other theories you're going to bring up but my personal "backstory" is that MC(me) used to watch the Disney movies when she(I) was younger, overtime she slowly forgot about them, going on with her day to day life. But after she as magically isekai'd to the world of Twisted wonderland her memories of her childhood movies slowly started returning with relevance. (*Oh, these people have card symbols on there faces, and an evil ruler, who has an adorable obsession with hedgehogs and rules? I remember a movie that had living cards and an evil judge, queen lady!!*) That was my take on it!!🤗
Interesting! I really like the idea that Grim got his love for eating the stones from the Dwarf!! Maybe the other traits from the overblot boys show through Grim's personality instead of something physical. Also I believe phantoms can be killed, if they aren't, they would disregard the host and rampage on forever. I remember Idia mentioning this in Book 6, so it's scary to think that the monsters behind the overblotted boys would've eventually killed them and ran around killing others! Really puts it into perspective that how dangerous these overblots actually are.
I think Ace’s name is going to be foreshadowing for his Unique Magic! In the game Trappola, the Ace is strongest card. In addition to that “taking a trick with a Deuce” gives you extra points. Besides the Ace, the cards that give points in Trappola are the King, the Cavalier, and the Jack. Which seem to line up with the freshmen (besides Ortho and MC/Grim)
About the Leona saves Ruggie theory, this is the first time I'm hearing about it but I actually, thought of a different outcome. I thought that Leona using his own Unique Magic/Signature spell was what saved him. It's actually hinted at that the contract that Leona wanted destroyed was for the potion Ruggie used, so it can't be that. Switching blotstones is plausible, but far fetched. With Ruggie's experience of pickpocketing, he would definitely notice something. Not to mention that we're also assuming that Leona knows about the loop. So using his UM/SS would set things on the right track, while making it physically impossible for Ruggie to overblot.
At the first glance, I liked this theory a lot cause it kind of a big brain way of thinking. But some also states it's because Ruggie isn't in his vulnerable state mentally and recalled to his ssr dorm card which has the most hp from the three savanaclaw student. I bet it meant he has more endurance than Leona, physically and mentally. It also can be affect by the fact that his magic probably isn't enough to overblot. It's stated that the bigger magic you have the higher risk of overblot you would facing. Which is sad that it means strong mage need to be mentally sparkly sunshine everytime if they don't want to kill or be killed by their own magic.

I think it comes from the fact that he's very similar to Alice and Alice does not belong in the wonderland just like yuu, a magicless prefect does not belong in the wonderland. It's not just a simple betrayal but more of a "you do not belong in this world. We need to get out." Thus, leaving everyone behind
Another theory about Azul that I've seen is that he might actually have a canon brother. There is a little Mermaid sequel where the Villian is Ursula's younger sister, Morgonna. Someone broke down this theory quite well on tumblr. Basically, his bio dad went and had another kid with someone else after the divorce with azuls mom. There are way more juicy points to this theory, but I feel like writing them all down on this comment would be quite tiring. I might just find a link to the original post.
There is even things about how, apparently, Triton (Ariel's father) and Ursula are related or something, from what I heard somewhere, so it is not just Morgonna.
@@orianefaton1885 if I’m not wrong they would technically be considered siblings which means that Ursula would be Ariel’s aunt. Meaning that Ursula would have a more personal connection to Triton and knew very well of his weaknesses from the very beginning. It makes sense how she was able to take him down using Ariel too. She has a lot of sisters and back then people had a lot of kids in hopes of “keeping the bloodline going.” So why would Ursula know to use Ariel if she mostly lives in the depths of the sea (currently) and is known for being very busy with her own work.
For around 11:00 I would say events like Glomas and playful land have heavy implication it occurs the year after or after the overblots occurred. And there actually is a fourth year but most students are doing their internship, which means they can participate in school events still.

Tbh it would be so cool if twisted wonderland is connected to epic mickey somehow they seem very similar in game fighting bolt wise but still a very good theory
1) Now I like to think for the time loop theory (it was a cycle between Yuu's before landing on us for Diasomnia's overblot), we actually came from the Future sent back by Crowely to 'correct' the past mistakes in a last ditch effort. Maybe some time after Grim has overblotted and the school is destroyed by his rampage. The room is completely dark save for the Mirror! (Also when the mirror tries to send us back to our home, it doesn't exist. Because it's 'gone', more or less. Lost to BLOT) But during the portal hop something happened or someone intervened and we lost our memories completely. It's why we think magic doesn't exist in 'our world'. Those 'disney flashbacks' could be our mind trying to reignite our memories by repainting them but warning us of what's to come. Like how we know of certain stories like the Wish on a Star or Beanfest event being familiar to us. It's subtle ways to hint we may know more, but we're still regaining our full memories. There's a reason why Rook calls us 'Trickster' 2) I don't necessarily think Ace will betray US. Yes we meet him first before Deuce, and he sticks with us despite his clear indifference to others as being 'good friends', but I think he has a much bigger role in the story. Maybe his 'trap' will be our victory over Malleus (hard stretch given where we are in the story, but seeing as we know nothing of his UM and everyone else in the First Year Gang does (IDK ABOUT SEBEK), it could be a misdirection or trap kind of spell given his playing card tricks we know about.) Ace is totally a Wild Card. 3) Being dead is a hard stretch (BUT! I connect this to the Yuu's in the novels. Each Yuu dies after a certain overblot (Yuuken to Leona, so Yuuka appears to defeat him. Yuuka to Azul, so Yuuta and so forth) 7) Totally agree, Ambrose knows more than is shown. Granted we know LITTLE of RSA, I think they may be key players in the story. I.e, their Magic Tool. In Glorious Masquerade, it's mentioned how magic schools are named for their Tool, and Royal Sword Academy could possess a magic sword. That sword could be used to defeat OB!Malleus either by our hand or Silver (think it's stated before how we possess some swordsmanship ability but idk) 8) Never heard this theory before till now. Interesting in some aspects, but personally idk. 9) Many, including myself, associate the guys to Major Tarot. Idk if Yana took inspo from them but everyone has different interpretations to the characters to relate to the decks. It all depends on your viewpoint! ✨ There's just so many theories out there that it's difficult to assume WHAT'S gonna happen, but it's fun seeing everyone's different interpretations and thoughts on an existing story. Can't wait to see what's in store for us :]
So I am still finishing the video (I left off on the Tarot Card part after Jamil), but I wanted to mention how I found it interesting that the nickname that Rook gave Yuu is “Trickster.” I always associated it to Tarot cards, but the answer is why? Yana made the choice to have Rook call Yuu that. I honestly don’t know much about Tarot cards, so this is helping me learn more about them! I only was able to recognize the names of them, though, because of getting into Persona, haha. I know that someone already mentioned this, but the third year/Juniors would be in their fourth year if the Halloween events take place a year later, not graduated. I only am bringing it up again because it is still possible they would not have been there regardless of not graduating. As fourth years, they’d be on their internships. Fourth years/Seniors in the game are a bit of an enigma. We only hear about them, but never see them. I never paid attention to the Chimera Grim creature featuring aspects of the Overblot Students! When someone pointed out he looked like Grim a while ago, I went back to look and I was like, “Holy cow! How did I miss that?!” But apparently that was not the only thing I missed… Hmm, Azul giving his eyesight to Jade and Floyd kind of makes sense. I have never heard that theory before. I do have some thoughts about the Cater Past Housewarden Theory I do want to share at some point, and I will try if I get the chance. Though the two points I have in mind can go both for and against it, which I’ll address that too. This was a very interesting video and introduced me to theories I actually never knew about! What did Azul get in return? Eternal loyality from Jade and Floyd. They both act as his debt collectors and given how violent Floyd is it makes you wonder how and why they'd be so loyal to Azul.
Maybe their mismatched eyes also hint to this? Azul giving "one" eye to each of them, so one eye is "blessed" while the other eye of the twins are their normal eye colors? Just a curious detail that might mean something?
For Malleus and the wolrd, it can also be because he is not the actual end. If there is an additional book about Grim overblotting this time. There is the 7 expected books, the one for the big dorms... but there would be a final book that you can consider represent "our" dorm and/or NRC (depend on if you wanna give the representation of our dorm as the start of the grop, so ADeuce and Grim and so the team fight wit the dwarf or as everyone Yuu gave therapy to)
I’ve heard a theory of Crowley being Malleus’ dad. Cuz from what we can see of Crowley’s face and hair, it’s very similar to Malleus. The same jaw structure, they’re both the same shade of pale skin, even the tips of both their hair have the same shade of teal/green color. Granted the argument can be made for characters in anime/manga/visual novels can look similar due to art style, BUT most artists while put more emphasis on similarities with family members. For example during the Scalding Sands event we meet Jamil’s lil sister Najma and you can clearly tell they’re from the same family. Real Ortho looks very similar to Idia. And (this maybe be spoilers I’m not sure cuz I’ve only seen images on Pinterest) Deuce looks similar to his mom and Sebek looks very similar to one of his relatives.
I’d like to object to the “they would’ve already graduated” comment for the Halloween event. Night Raven College is a four year college and Vil, Rook, Leona and co are only be in their third year, they would’ve been in their final year if the event had happened one year later. Also I just suspected it happened right after the endless Halloween event.
I'm so glad the time loop + Crowley is the mastermind theory exists because it kinda backs up my Yuusona headcanons XD The timeloop theory also would support all events being canon, despite some of them supposedly happening at the same time (ex: how there are 2 Fairy Gala events with different characters, and the Halloween events). If these events are just different time loops, then all of them have happened. This would also make each Yuu in different stories canon as well. What if each Yuu "failed" in some way and died, so Crowley has to reset the events and summon a new Yuu to try again. Ex: Yuuken died during Leona's overblot, so Crowley summoned Yuuka, and she saved both Riddle and Leona, but died when Azul overblotted, and so on and so forth. The Yuu in the game is Crowley's greatest summon so far (and that's the headcanon I have for my Yuusona)
Sorry for this long reply but wanted to address somethings with the theories as well as something else. shocked you didn't bring up the twst game OP to prove that Leona knows about the loops. Cause there is a part where you see his hand and maybe him crying off screen and one of the tears has a mickey symbol on it. People used to use that as prove he was in the time loops cause that is the only time you see him braking down in game, but then he goes back to normal as if nothing happened once Jack and Ruggie are near him. As for who Lilia could be people also say he could be a reference of Diablo aka Maleficent's bird. We know that his hair is really red highlights in his JP card, and his pink highlights are used by magic I believe. Which was one of the colors that the blue and red fairy used when fighting to making Aurora's dress. Not only that him being so close and so high up in rank with Malleus, and not Malleus family (Not saying why cause spoilers.) along with them always together could be in line with that as well. For the start of the epic micky thing when you brought up the cartoon. Fun fact: in the game you go through a tutorial with the cards and it is a call back to that cartoon. Also the game tells you that the reason the blot in epic mickey is around is because Mickey created it and caused all this madness, cause Yensid was making a world for forgotten Disney character, and with Micky messing with the magic paintbrush ruined it and created the Blot monster in the game. I bring this up cause a lot of people have said the overblots might happen cause Yuu causes them all to happen. Which...I don't want to agree on, but it dose seem to be the case for a lot of them I noticed. For the tip connection. I strongly do think it was Crowley for this reason alone. If he gave the tip and was being looked into at that moment by STYX, then when they found nothing on him that means getting another looking in job would be even more difficult then ever now, since it would look bad on STYX on suspecting a headmaster for a school that has been around for years. I strongly do believe Caster was the ex housewarden and the reason he doesn't talk abut it is because he dose give off the vibes of not bringing up past accomplishments unless they are still relevant to him. if not then just like a trend it's in the past and not worth going back to at times. Also I wasn't expecting for you to go over all the cards for the tarot card theory, but I grateful for it, since a lot of what I found is normally short and to the point with the example. Lastly ever thought about making a part 2? Doesn't have to be 10 more theories just some you might have missed or don't know about. Like how people think Rook is based on Robin Hood (I have a post covering it.), or the theory that Sebek and Trey might be related. And the theory that some people believe that Crowley might be Malleus's dad or Malleus in another time loop that time traveled to give Crowley "HIS/THERE" happy ending.
One interesting addition to the Epic Mickey theory is that in the game, Mickey can be influenced to become good or evil based on the player's choices. The amount of paint thinner or ink used can determine whether Mickey becomes a hero or a villain in the story. This concept may explain why a epic version of Mickey is the twisted Wonderland version of Mickey that technically can become a villain which is probably why they use this version. I made a few edits, but I forgot to add this. Lilia is based off the fairies, but he is still evil. This could be a reference to the new Maleficent movies, where Maleficent took better care of Aurora than the fairies themselves. So, I like to think that he is just taunting them, saying that he can take better care of two kids than they could take care of one baby.

Cuz these two are the ones with least magical connection prior to NRC Vil specially, as he came to the school barely knowing magic and his dad doesn't have it either(which is why he is persistent on not using magic during VDC) While Deuce seems to be the same thing, but knowing a bit more of magic So, what if Yuu, Vil and Deuce were the only ones dead and revived in NRC? And Yuu is the only one who recalls their true life prior
For grim's overblot form, I'd say his head and ear markings represent Vil because Vil has almost the exact same pattern on his forehead and for riddle you can see roses and thorns in the background that might have been caused by the overblot. For the miner we might not be able to see anything from it/ it might be the hands or talons because it seems like the characteristics grim takes from the overblotters come from the overblot forms instead of the overblot monsters. The miner we faced in the prologue was just the monster.
In my opinion I think that somehow Grim and Yuu share a curse(don’t ask how) the main reason is the dream we keep having plus(spoiler for book 7) both us and Grim are in each other’s dreams which doesn’t happen anywhere else. Other theory I have is what I call the vessel theory. Which is Yuu having someone(or something) inside of them that is using them. Also the last thing is the fact Grim could overblot but not Yuu because Yuu has no magic but what if Grim overblots and Yuu gets absorbed into him and instead of magic it’s their soul.

Why do I feel like Vil and Epel are a lot similar than they realize? Vil hates and I mean hates that he is always the Villain, never let shine the way he wants and this is more femininity vs masculinity in Epel's case. They are two extremes stuck with the end they don't wish to be seen as. The difference is Vil is trying to "use" the side he doesn't like for his advantage, perhaps hoping one day he'll be able to shine as he wants through this and that's why he is so overbearing on Epel, perhaps he doesn't want him to waste his time with negativity but improve faster than Vil did, but since Epel didn't come to this conclusion naturally and didn't choose what or how he sees it yet, he feels forced. They also talk about Vil and Epel's past with bullying and unlike Vil, Epel didn't have Jack, so he probably went on the more aggressive route while Vil was more stable. Influence of a similar age group especially positively might also have been a good reason for Vil to at least regulate his biases and negative traits faster than Epel did. So I believe they can help each other only and only when they wanna listen to each other's perspective without cat and mouse like dynamics. Which is probably also hard since they get on each other's toxic side pretty easily, Rook and Jack are great buffers for them. Now even Deuce's affect around the VDC, they might be getting slowly better, but not sure how better that might be? I don't think they are looking at each other with the most positive way but perhaps they are at least in Epel's case trying to be, I do think Vil's desires and authoritative state sometimes damages that potential still but that's about it, he is also probably trying in his own way, with that helping Epel's family with the advertisement. I probably ranted for too long, long story short, it's not impossible for them to get along unlike at the start of the story now. But I might be reading too much into it

idk if this sounds stupid but what is the reason ace is a traitor is because something bad happened to his brother during his time at NRC. like he got seriously injured during when of the magic spars, example being the battle for housewarden like we see towards the end of book 1

Imagine this ok! What if Grim overbites because yuu was going to leave. I mean the first years found a way to get yuu back home so what if Grim was mad and sad, they’d been together for so long he didn’t want them to leave. But when he overblots he killed them. (I had this thought in the shower 😭)
The epic Mickey theory caught my eye, while I don’t think the exact events are going to play out. I wonder if yuu will make a sacrifice to save overblot grim (Assuming the dire beast is grim) that will end with yuu dying or even being hospitalized like after book 2. This is a stretch, but considering the parallels, it could happen.

You could argue that it could also be Riddle, but his markings were more to the side his left eye(I think it’s that one?) while the Chimera and Vil’s were more on the forehead of that makes sense

I feel like the reason the dark mirror said that Yuu's world doesn't exist is because Yuu is already dead or their world might have been a simulation all along. Maybe their spirit persisted and they got a new body that imitates their old one whilst being transported from their old world after they "died". Okay but for Glomas it can't take place in our first year. We get winter break in book 4 so Halloween should take place before that but Epel and Deuce uses their UM then when they got it after winter break in books 5 and 6 so the event doesn't fit in the timeline. Also Trey and the rest of the third year would'nt have graduate yet, they're just be doing intership but they're still students. And it was mentioned that the fourth years can show up back in school for big events so Glomas would fit in second year better than in the timeloop theory. And just a reminder, in the 2nd Halloween event, Ace mentions how he wants the day to end so winter break would arrive specifically, so it proves that the event predates book 4 and that we're not dealing with the japanese school calendar where classes starts in spring.

19:32 On Ace setting things off and showing more consideration for yuu- in the book, I think they show his feelings for the main character soooo much better than in game. He's angry with Yuuya (the book Yuu) because he thought he got in for free by causing problems and being demanding while everyone else gets into NRC by working their asses off for it. He had no idea that Yuuya was from another world until later, so he called him out and started insulting him out of nowhere and picked a fight with him because he thought he deserved to be "shot down" for not earning his place like him. When he realizes that Yuuya has nowhere to go if he's kicked out, he struggles to show it, but he feels really apologetic for how he treated him so badly considering Yuuya's pretty much homeless and alone in a weird strange place
I think that when we see Ace being nicer to Yuu than he is with others or just generally being really uncharacteristically friendly sometimes, it's partially because he feels bad that he treated them like an asshole and is still trying to make up for it
Aah, it does explain things better. From his dialogue in-game it can somewhat be misintrepreted as a staged facade for me QwQ, like he's using Yuu's vulnerability to make them trust him the most because he's there for them. (And soon stab them in the back lmao /jk)

Contrary to popular belief, Crows aren't omen of ill fate, but guides that helps souls to cross different realms, the spiritual and physical world. And Grimm which is a direct callback to the Grimm Reaper.
This makes so much sense since Crowley is the headmaster of NRC and during orientation, the new students come inside a coffin, symbolizing their 'death' and then 'rebirth' after they're awake and out of the coffin, it's like Crowley's role is to 'helps souls to cross different realms' like you said

In his card there is a scene where the staff is eating at a lunch table together and talking. Crewel mentions that “Crowley has stayed the same ever since I attended school here”. It could mean they attended school together but why wouldn’t he say “we”? It heavily implies that Crowley has been head mage at least when Crewel first attended Night Raven College. And that the school is at least over 300-400 years old. I can’t wait for them to just reveal his actual age now.

I honestly LOVED traitor Ace theory as an Ace stan myself. But not in the way he's actually evil, instead, his villainous IS the deceiver. He'll sacrifice and play the villain role somehow to help us, because, well, he's so bad at communicating affection. We might get a shock of him betraying us, but I can feel that he's betraying us for good reasons. OR maybe if he's actually the real puppet in disguise afterall, I hope he get redemption mid all the books he got with Yuu and settle back his plan and side with Yuu instead.

REAL like how witches in madoka magica are like overblots and how the mages in twisted wonderland have stones that turn black when they overblot like a magical girls soul gem.

Malleus' connection to the World tarot also relates to his scheme overall. Reverse world being about no closure, a discontinued journey and stalling describes what he does perfectly to everyone in NRC, where he stalls everyone's lives to be in a standstill within their ideal dreams simply because he can't accept the closure of people moving on away from him
So I think the bleeding "eyeliner" on the possible grim overblot may be like the running eyeliner on Vil's overblot. The netting/lace like Riddle's overblot (he has some lace over his face. it's a little easier to see in the manga!!) may also be what is on the front and right ear of the Chimera monster. I can't see anything that would relate to the dwarf....or perhaps, now this is just a sudden speculation I had. what if Grim's love for eating the stones came from the dwarf? when you first see it, it yell out "Stones....Stones are mine!!!!" which could relate to Grim's feral behavior when it comes to finding the stones (starting in book 5/6. the Pomfiore one). something else that's interesting is the fact that STYX had never found the dwarf since that one was most likely a phantom, but it's probably irrelevant since we likely killed it. (but can they be killed? all the captured phantoms stayed frozen. was this for testing, or was it because they can't actually die?)
I haven't finished the video yet so I'm not sure what other theories you're going to bring up but my personal "backstory" is that MC(me) used to watch the Disney movies when she(I) was younger, overtime she slowly forgot about them, going on with her day to day life. But after she as magically isekai'd to the world of Twisted wonderland her memories of her childhood movies slowly started returning with relevance. (*Oh, these people have card symbols on there faces, and an evil ruler, who has an adorable obsession with hedgehogs and rules? I remember a movie that had living cards and an evil judge, queen lady!!*)

Interesting! I really like the idea that Grim got his love for eating the stones from the Dwarf!! Maybe the other traits from the overblot boys show through Grim's personality instead of something physical.
Also I believe phantoms can be killed, if they aren't, they would disregard the host and rampage on forever. I remember Idia mentioning this in Book 6, so it's scary to think that the monsters behind the overblotted boys would've eventually killed them and ran around killing others! Really puts it into perspective that how dangerous these overblots actually are.
I think Ace’s name is going to be foreshadowing for his Unique Magic!
In the game Trappola, the Ace is strongest card. In addition to that “taking a trick with a Deuce” gives you extra points. Besides the Ace, the cards that give points in Trappola are the King, the Cavalier, and the Jack. Which seem to line up with the freshmen (besides Ortho and MC/Grim)
About the Leona saves Ruggie theory, this is the first time I'm hearing about it but I actually, thought of a different outcome.
I thought that Leona using his own Unique Magic/Signature spell was what saved him. It's actually hinted at that the contract that Leona wanted destroyed was for the potion Ruggie used, so it can't be that. Switching blotstones is plausible, but far fetched. With Ruggie's experience of pickpocketing, he would definitely notice something. Not to mention that we're also assuming that Leona knows about the loop. So using his UM/SS would set things on the right track, while making it physically impossible for Ruggie to overblot.
At the first glance, I liked this theory a lot cause it kind of a big brain way of thinking. But some also states it's because Ruggie isn't in his vulnerable state mentally and recalled to his ssr dorm card which has the most hp from the three savanaclaw student. I bet it meant he has more endurance than Leona, physically and mentally. It also can be affect by the fact that his magic probably isn't enough to overblot. It's stated that the bigger magic you have the higher risk of overblot you would facing. Which is sad that it means strong mage need to be mentally sparkly sunshine everytime if they don't want to kill or be killed by their own magic.

I think it comes from the fact that he's very similar to Alice and Alice does not belong in the wonderland just like yuu, a magicless prefect does not belong in the wonderland. It's not just a simple betrayal but more of a "you do not belong in this world. We need to get out." Thus, leaving everyone behind
Another theory about Azul that I've seen is that he might actually have a canon brother.
There is a little Mermaid sequel where the Villian is Ursula's younger sister, Morgonna. Someone broke down this theory quite well on tumblr. Basically, his bio dad went and had another kid with someone else after the divorce with azuls mom.

@@orianefaton1885 if I’m not wrong they would technically be considered siblings which means that Ursula would be Ariel’s aunt. Meaning that Ursula would have a more personal connection to Triton and knew very well of his weaknesses from the very beginning. It makes sense how she was able to take him down using Ariel too. She has a lot of sisters and back then people had a lot of kids in hopes of “keeping the bloodline going.” So why would Ursula know to use Ariel if she mostly lives in the depths of the sea (currently) and is known for being very busy with her own work.
For around 11:00 I would say events like Glomas and playful land have heavy implication it occurs the year after or after the overblots occurred. And there actually is a fourth year but most students are doing their internship, which means they can participate in school events still.

1) Now I like to think for the time loop theory (it was a cycle between Yuu's before landing on us for Diasomnia's overblot), we actually came from the Future sent back by Crowely to 'correct' the past mistakes in a last ditch effort. Maybe some time after Grim has overblotted and the school is destroyed by his rampage. The room is completely dark save for the Mirror! (Also when the mirror tries to send us back to our home, it doesn't exist. Because it's 'gone', more or less. Lost to BLOT)
But during the portal hop something happened or someone intervened and we lost our memories completely. It's why we think magic doesn't exist in 'our world'. Those 'disney flashbacks' could be our mind trying to reignite our memories by repainting them but warning us of what's to come. Like how we know of certain stories like the Wish on a Star or Beanfest event being familiar to us. It's subtle ways to hint we may know more, but we're still regaining our full memories.
There's a reason why Rook calls us 'Trickster'
2) I don't necessarily think Ace will betray US. Yes we meet him first before Deuce, and he sticks with us despite his clear indifference to others as being 'good friends', but I think he has a much bigger role in the story. Maybe his 'trap' will be our victory over Malleus (hard stretch given where we are in the story, but seeing as we know nothing of his UM and everyone else in the First Year Gang does (IDK ABOUT SEBEK), it could be a misdirection or trap kind of spell given his playing card tricks we know about.) Ace is totally a Wild Card.
3) Being dead is a hard stretch (BUT! I connect this to the Yuu's in the novels. Each Yuu dies after a certain overblot (Yuuken to Leona, so Yuuka appears to defeat him. Yuuka to Azul, so Yuuta and so forth)
7) Totally agree, Ambrose knows more than is shown. Granted we know LITTLE of RSA, I think they may be key players in the story. I.e, their Magic Tool. In Glorious Masquerade, it's mentioned how magic schools are named for their Tool, and Royal Sword Academy could possess a magic sword. That sword could be used to defeat OB!Malleus either by our hand or Silver (think it's stated before how we possess some swordsmanship ability but idk)
8) Never heard this theory before till now. Interesting in some aspects, but personally idk.
9) Many, including myself, associate the guys to Major Tarot. Idk if Yana took inspo from them but everyone has different interpretations to the characters to relate to the decks. It all depends on your viewpoint!

So I am still finishing the video (I left off on the Tarot Card part after Jamil), but I wanted to mention how I found it interesting that the nickname that Rook gave Yuu is “Trickster.” I always associated it to Tarot cards, but the answer is why? Yana made the choice to have Rook call Yuu that.
I honestly don’t know much about Tarot cards, so this is helping me learn more about them! I only was able to recognize the names of them, though, because of getting into Persona, haha.
I know that someone already mentioned this, but the third year/Juniors would be in their fourth year if the Halloween events take place a year later, not graduated. I only am bringing it up again because it is still possible they would not have been there regardless of not graduating. As fourth years, they’d be on their internships. Fourth years/Seniors in the game are a bit of an enigma. We only hear about them, but never see them.
I never paid attention to the Chimera Grim creature featuring aspects of the Overblot Students! When someone pointed out he looked like Grim a while ago, I went back to look and I was like, “Holy cow! How did I miss that?!” But apparently that was not the only thing I missed…

What did Azul get in return? Eternal loyality from Jade and Floyd. They both act as his debt collectors and given how violent Floyd is it makes you wonder how and why they'd be so loyal to Azul.
Maybe their mismatched eyes also hint to this? Azul giving "one" eye to each of them, so one eye is "blessed" while the other eye of the twins are their normal eye colors? Just a curious detail that might mean something?

There is the 7 expected books, the one for the big dorms... but there would be a final book that you can consider represent "our" dorm and/or NRC (depend on if you wanna give the representation of our dorm as the start of the grop, so ADeuce and Grim and so the team fight wit the dwarf or as everyone Yuu gave therapy to)
I’ve heard a theory of Crowley being Malleus’ dad. Cuz from what we can see of Crowley’s face and hair, it’s very similar to Malleus. The same jaw structure, they’re both the same shade of pale skin, even the tips of both their hair have the same shade of teal/green color. Granted the argument can be made for characters in anime/manga/visual novels can look similar due to art style, BUT most artists while put more emphasis on similarities with family members. For example during the Scalding Sands event we meet Jamil’s lil sister Najma and you can clearly tell they’re from the same family. Real Ortho looks very similar to Idia. And (this maybe be spoilers I’m not sure cuz I’ve only seen images on Pinterest)
Deuce looks similar to his mom and Sebek looks very similar to one of his relatives.
I’d like to object to the “they would’ve already graduated” comment for the Halloween event. Night Raven College is a four year college and Vil, Rook, Leona and co are only be in their third year, they would’ve been in their final year if the event had happened one year later. Also I just suspected it happened right after the endless Halloween event.
Not to contradict you, but how much free time after Halloween would there be to make the Masquerade event fit in line?

I'm so glad the time loop + Crowley is the mastermind theory exists because it kinda backs up my Yuusona headcanons XD
The timeloop theory also would support all events being canon, despite some of them supposedly happening at the same time (ex: how there are 2 Fairy Gala events with different characters, and the Halloween events). If these events are just different time loops, then all of them have happened. This would also make each Yuu in different stories canon as well. What if each Yuu "failed" in some way and died, so Crowley has to reset the events and summon a new Yuu to try again. Ex: Yuuken died during Leona's overblot, so Crowley summoned Yuuka, and she saved both Riddle and Leona, but died when Azul overblotted, and so on and so forth. The Yuu in the game is Crowley's greatest summon so far (and that's the headcanon I have for my Yuusona)

Sorry for this long reply but wanted to address somethings with the theories as well as something else.
shocked you didn't bring up the twst game OP to prove that Leona knows about the loops. Cause there is a part where you see his hand and maybe him crying off screen and one of the tears has a mickey symbol on it. People used to use that as prove he was in the time loops cause that is the only time you see him braking down in game, but then he goes back to normal as if nothing happened once Jack and Ruggie are near him.
As for who Lilia could be people also say he could be a reference of Diablo aka Maleficent's bird. We know that his hair is really red highlights in his JP card, and his pink highlights are used by magic I believe. Which was one of the colors that the blue and red fairy used when fighting to making Aurora's dress. Not only that him being so close and so high up in rank with Malleus, and not Malleus family (Not saying why cause spoilers.) along with them always together could be in line with that as well.
For the start of the epic micky thing when you brought up the cartoon. Fun fact: in the game you go through a tutorial with the cards and it is a call back to that cartoon. Also the game tells you that the reason the blot in epic mickey is around is because Mickey created it and caused all this madness, cause Yensid was making a world for forgotten Disney character, and with Micky messing with the magic paintbrush ruined it and created the Blot monster in the game. I bring this up cause a lot of people have said the overblots might happen cause Yuu causes them all to happen. Which...I don't want to agree on, but it dose seem to be the case for a lot of them I noticed.
For the tip connection. I strongly do think it was Crowley for this reason alone. If he gave the tip and was being looked into at that moment by STYX, then when they found nothing on him that means getting another looking in job would be even more difficult then ever now, since it would look bad on STYX on suspecting a headmaster for a school that has been around for years.
I strongly do believe Caster was the ex housewarden and the reason he doesn't talk abut it is because he dose give off the vibes of not bringing up past accomplishments unless they are still relevant to him. if not then just like a trend it's in the past and not worth going back to at times.
Also I wasn't expecting for you to go over all the cards for the tarot card theory, but I grateful for it, since a lot of what I found is normally short and to the point with the example.
Lastly ever thought about making a part 2? Doesn't have to be 10 more theories just some you might have missed or don't know about. Like how people think Rook is based on Robin Hood (I have a post covering it.), or the theory that Sebek and Trey might be related. And the theory that some people believe that Crowley might be Malleus's dad or Malleus in another time loop that time traveled to give Crowley "HIS/THERE" happy ending.

One interesting addition to the Epic Mickey theory is that in the game, Mickey can be influenced to become good or evil based on the player's choices. The amount of paint thinner or ink used can determine whether Mickey becomes a hero or a villain in the story. This concept may explain why a epic version of Mickey is the twisted Wonderland version of Mickey that technically can become a villain which is probably why they use this version.
I made a few edits, but I forgot to add this. Lilia is based off the fairies, but he is still evil. This could be a reference to the new Maleficent movies, where Maleficent took better care of Aurora than the fairies themselves. So, I like to think that he is just taunting them, saying that he can take better care of two kids than they could take care of one baby.

Why? Cuz these two are the ones with least magical connection prior to NRC
Vil specially, as he came to the school barely knowing magic and his dad doesn't have it either(which is why he is persistent on not using magic during VDC)
While Deuce seems to be the same thing, but knowing a bit more of magic
So, what if Yuu, Vil and Deuce were the only ones dead and revived in NRC? And Yuu is the only one who recalls their true life prior
For grim's overblot form, I'd say his head and ear markings represent Vil because Vil has almost the exact same pattern on his forehead and for riddle you can see roses and thorns in the background that might have been caused by the overblot. For the miner we might not be able to see anything from it/ it might be the hands or talons because it seems like the characteristics grim takes from the overblotters come from the overblot forms instead of the overblot monsters. The miner we faced in the prologue was just the monster.
In my opinion I think that somehow Grim and Yuu share a curse(don’t ask how) the main reason is the dream we keep having plus(spoiler for book 7) both us and Grim are in each other’s dreams which doesn’t happen anywhere else.
Other theory I have is what I call the vessel theory. Which is Yuu having someone(or something) inside of them that is using them.
Also the last thing is the fact Grim could overblot but not Yuu because Yuu has no magic but what if Grim overblots and Yuu gets absorbed into him and instead of magic it’s their soul.

Why do I feel like Vil and Epel are a lot similar than they realize? Vil hates and I mean hates that he is always the Villain, never let shine the way he wants and this is more femininity vs masculinity in Epel's case. They are two extremes stuck with the end they don't wish to be seen as. The difference is Vil is trying to "use" the side he doesn't like for his advantage, perhaps hoping one day he'll be able to shine as he wants through this and that's why he is so overbearing on Epel, perhaps he doesn't want him to waste his time with negativity but improve faster than Vil did, but since Epel didn't come to this conclusion naturally and didn't choose what or how he sees it yet, he feels forced. They also talk about Vil and Epel's past with bullying and unlike Vil, Epel didn't have Jack, so he probably went on the more aggressive route while Vil was more stable. Influence of a similar age group especially positively might also have been a good reason for Vil to at least regulate his biases and negative traits faster than Epel did. So I believe they can help each other only and only when they wanna listen to each other's perspective without cat and mouse like dynamics. Which is probably also hard since they get on each other's toxic side pretty easily, Rook and Jack are great buffers for them. Now even Deuce's affect around the VDC, they might be getting slowly better, but not sure how better that might be? I don't think they are looking at each other with the most positive way but perhaps they are at least in Epel's case trying to be, I do think Vil's desires and authoritative state sometimes damages that potential still but that's about it, he is also probably trying in his own way, with that helping Epel's family with the advertisement. I probably ranted for too long, long story short, it's not impossible for them to get along unlike at the start of the story now. But I might be reading too much into it

About the similarities between the chimera and Vil, I could be wrong or someone already said it(I didn’t check the comments yet), but the markings on the chimera’s face are quite similar to Vil’s. You could argue that it could also be Riddle, but his markings were more to the side his left eye(I think it’s that one?) while the Chimera and Vil’s were more on the forehead of that makes sense

I had this theory about silver which is:that silver is a missing prince because he represents aurora and technically she was a missing princess and the ring that Lilia gave silver looks almost royal and it has the same shape as aurora’s crown and Lilia said that malleus would be jealous if he found out about the ring but why would malleus be jealous if silver was just a bodyguard 🤔

I feel like the reason the dark mirror said that Yuu's world doesn't exist is because Yuu is already dead or their world might have been a simulation all along. Maybe their spirit persisted and they got a new body that imitates their old one whilst being transported from their old world after they "died". There are so many juicy theories for this game, honestly. We need more lore!!!!! I need to know the answers to these and see if any of them are true!!! Okay but for Glomas it can't take place in our first year. We get winter break in book 4 so Halloween should take place before that but Epel and Deuce uses their UM then when they got it after winter break in books 5 and 6 so the event doesn't fit in the timeline. Also Trey and the rest of the third year would'nt have graduate yet, they're just be doing intership but they're still students. And it was mentioned that the fourth years can show up back in school for big events so Glomas would fit in second year better than in the timeloop theory.
And just a reminder, in the 2nd Halloween event, Ace mentions how he wants the day to end so winter break would arrive specifically, so it proves that the event predates book 4 and that we're not dealing with the japanese school calendar where classes starts in spring.
