I like Cars 1 and 2. Cars 2 should be the last film of the franchise because the production of this film was 200 million and for the domestic gross, it made 191 million. For worldwide release, it made over 500 million dollars and this movies is still considered a box office success, but making Cars 3 is very sequels because in general, most of the sequels on any franchise makes less money than the original.

@imagolfer47 it didn't take them 11 years to perfect they just stopped making those movies but then about a year to 2 years ago they thought of making a third movie that's answered all the questions you had before and officially ended the story
