Hello lovely student! As I mentioned, I have developed a more in-depth online pronunciation test that you can take for free (for a limited time!) You can take it here 👉🏼 bit.ly/pronleveltest - There are 15 questions for each level. The test stops if you fail a level. Your results will be delivered via email. Good luck!
Hello my lovely teacher Lucy, here's your lovely student.I'm a big fan of you and I'm watching your videos from 4 years and now I've reached to the c1 level of English in the age of 13.so in today's video, I got 12 out of 15.. and the credit goes to my incredible teacher Lucy for this incredible achievement And thanks to my incredible teacher Lucy for her incredible videos.💕💕💕
I scored 10/15 to your test for beginner and intermediate, but I made a lot of mistakes for Advanced section. It's so interesting. I am interested in doing other pronunciation tests. Thank you so much, Lucy.
For any advanced learners, have a crack at "The Chaos" poem, also known as "Dearest creature in creation". It uses some uncommon vocabulary and names, like "succour", "viscount", "zeal", "clangour", "Melpomene" and "Terpsichore".
Dear Lucy, thank you so much for your beautiful channel and your help. I've seen a channel called "English for everyone" constantly blaming you and other UA-camrs for teaching what they call "nonsense". I wish those people were just teaching whatever they like to teach, without criticizing the job of other teachers. In any case, I wanted to say "thank you" and please be strong, we love you so much! :)
Scored 14/15. In the last question I counted only three pauses because there were no full stops so I couldn't guess where the sentence ends. Anyway, I am proud of myself and have to thank you for your absolutely amazing, informative and convivial videos. Love you so much from Iran and thank you again.
Hello lovely Lucy dear teacher I am your student as well as a big fan I am watching your videos from 5 years I watched every single video of yours it will very helpful for me Lucy thank you so much mam i am from Pakistan 🇵🇰 I am also a teacher in private school my teacher experience is 4 years
I got 28 questions right. The two mistakes ( Or misDakes) is that asked me to connect vowels with /j/ and /w/ and requires me to pronounce the ed at the end of a word properly. But after this test, I am going to work on these two little pronunciation tips. English learning is a life task. Keep it up, guys!😉
I think that it is essential to change the sounds of /d/ and /t/ in /dʒ/ and /tʃ/ in sentences like: - Was there anything in particular that you wanted to talk about? /ðætʃ ju: wantid/ - I want you to go /wantʃ ju tə gəu/ - Would you like something else? /wudʒ jə laik/ - Could you be loved? /kudʒ ju/ (heard in the Bob Marley's song).
Sorry, I made some phonetic mistakes: I think that it is essential to change the sounds of /d/ and /t/ in /dʒ/ and /tʃ/ in sentences like: - Was there anything in particular that you wanted to talk about? /ðætʃ ju: wɒntid/ - I want you to go /wɒntʃ ju tə gəu/ - Would you like something else? /wudʒ jə laik/ - Could you be loved? /kudʒ ju/ (heard in the Bob Marley's song).

Thank you so much, Lucy. I had a whale of a time watching this video. I scored 14/15 down to a mistake in determining whether my voice had to go up or down in the intonation question.
I was just at the point to count a score for 7s having missed "r" when you went "You have to get them ALL right to score 1 point" 😅Oh no... 6 out of 15. A great stuff! Shows how deep English is and how many nuances it has. Thank you guys!
Hi! I got 14/15, missed the correct stress before th - tion syllable. It was a great vidro, as usual, and i learned a lot. Thank you, Lucy❤, ftom an Egyptian teacher of English:)
As an American rhotic-speaker, I got the silent-r wrong. Also, both of the last two sentences sounded kind of sarcastic to me. (two countries divided by an uncommon language, so to speak)
4/5 , 2/5, 4/5 10/15 I think that's because we had an English curriculum that didn't focus on pronunciation when we were at intermediate level , but then changed to more focused on pronunciation at advanced level
I scored 15 in your test of pronunciation as a beginner student and i want to thank you and tell you that i enjoyed this test and i would like to participate in other challenge 🤍🤍🤍
This is truly advanced lesson and subjective by somehow. Try to do the same in your own mother tongue language you’ll find it even in your own mother tongue language you will make differences. But I would like to say that there is no exact true answer.
Funny thing that happens to me with the word receipt is that I know the p is meant to be silent but that makes my attention goes to it and istead of not pronouncing it, I do. It's like trying not to think of something and doing it more. I now I still need to work on my pronunciation.

How to pronounce a word correctly. Please mam make a video on this topic.
Intonation is Chinese for me. That does not mean that I can't use correct intonation, that means that I can't say where I went up or down.
Yes, chinese has tones. Here's(in english) which called intonation.
