Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate whether or not we’re going into a recession and precisely when it’s going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

I am a resident of Hamilton South and have been for the last 15 years you know what it might not be the best place to live but it's not as bad as what one would think we are definitely not in comparison with Macquarie Hills the only thing that might look similar is the buildings and yes there are some problems here but it takes a strong person to live where there is one man's floor is another man's roof and another thing people that live in these areas get judged and people are not all criminals in fact Hamilton South has a lot of nice people here they have had unfortunate lives not all people lucky to have their own homes and their own choices but I am grateful for what I have and if you were to go around and ask any elderly people that live here in Hamilton South they will tell you that they like it here and wouldn't swap for the world it isn't for the faint hearted and I would live here in Hamilton South before I lived in any of the other four suburbs maybe you should do a video on Hamilton South and the hardships and the people here because the stigma needs to change people need to stop being judged by their location
All well and good for the people who have lived in the area for years. I agree there's good and bad in every suburb. Unfortunately for those people, especially families with children who have been pushed out of the rental market due to exorbitant costs of living, something needs to be done about the self entitled A#@* holes who believe they can treat new people to the area like 💩 because they've been there longer!! Time people stop accepting this unsociable self entitled behaviour and get rid of the scum bags so our children can be given a safe, healthy environment to grow.
Chatea Lea way was the tamest street in Hamo South, still the ghetto, but not as bad as others around it. Or at least it wasn’t when I was growing up in there
I’m living in Shortland now. Lots has changed since I moved here in 2007. Lock your cars and house at night. Newcastle is overall a great city. I find everything I need without leaving the LGA.
As a Newcastle city bus driver. Most drug deals, exchanges are carried out on our bus network. We have asked for help, sent email, contacted police intelligence, no support. The level of domestic violence against others riding the service and us drivers is now extremely out of control. An average, an assault on a bus driver happens 2x a day.
I watched this and thought 'Yeah but it's not like you get stabbed in Newcastle. Then I remembered that I am the nephew of Stan Lee who was stabbed to death out the front of Egan Surf in Darby st a couple of decades ago
Go the dale,at one stage about 20 years ago, there was a news report that said windale had more drug dealers per head than anywhere else in the southern hemisphere, and in the late sixties, early seventies it had the nickname of dodge city, because thats what the cops would do if they could
Yeah what he said, Newcastle, it's awful, crack addicts everywhere, really cold and there's nothing to do.. The beaches suck, can't find a policeman anywhere, no education standards & you'll probably drown inside a bullshark if you're not careful. Go to Gosford or Ourimbah, it's beautiful and people are sober living, hard working and very friendly.
I worked Newcastle an lived in cameron pk for 14 years ,i regretted having a house build there the street finished up full of drug dealers an inbreds ,there ar still some nice people there an as soon as i retired my wife an i sold up an now live in portmaqarie an we love it .
You know what it is Placid you can hear a pin drop on any given night even New Years Eve there's no visual violence everyone's friendly and is no comparison to anywhere in Sydney sadly last couple of months City's going downhill because people from are the areas hanging around but the people themselves here not the problem 9 times out of 10 it's outside problems like last week's stolen BMW gets dumped in Hamilton South but the people that stole it we're not from here
I was pretty accurate until you mentioned Fennell Bay, sure its git some problems but i've never heard of it being known for hig DV rates. I think you it confused with Bolton point which is notorious for those problems. Lol
You got that right wouldn't even think about living in Windale and the only reason you would want to live there is if you wanna be a no hoper bludger or druggie cause that is all it's good for
Newcastle has some of the largest cancer clusters in the country. Best advice, stay ay least 50 km away from any Defence facilities or any areas that were Defence facilities. Source CSIRO. Carinogens include PFAS. There are far better places to live.
Wtf Fennell bay is placid. Bolton point is the neighbourhood i think you meant. I know that because i grew in bolto. Fennell bay is full of old people.
"if youre a bit precious"?? So it's a personal negative or weakness of some sort, to not want to chose these areas to live in? So many class hangups in all directions in Newcastle. Just say what you mean and stop apologising.
Translating - Avoid Newcastle any cost! Land of stoned bogans in social projects. In USSR there was so called "101st kilometer", belt of industrial towns arown Moscow immediately beyond 100km area where small criminals not allowed to settle after they serve their sentences. So they settle in these towns with all their problems. My mother was born there and ran away to uni and marriage. And here in Australia I met absolutely the same, just English-speaking. What is worth to notice - Wollongong does not have similar smell, even with similar coal and steel industry, similar distance to Sydney, similar population and so on. Why - do not know.
When visiting Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia... the number one place to avoid at all costs is... Newcastle. The only place worse, is just up the highway... It's Maitland. Save yourself the trouble, go anywhere else instead. 😐
You got that right champ! You go anywhere else. There's a good lad, keep going now. Further.......further.....you're almost there......further....keep going....you can do it.....further. There are actually a lot of ways to make high yields in a crisis, but such trades are best done under the supervision of Financial advisor.

A lot of government housing in WIndale as been sold. The Bronx of Hamilton South now is way worse especially Hassall and Fowler Sts.

So true. I worked in the bottle shop in Hamilton south in the late 90s. Even the hardest parts of houso areas are nothing like those in Sydney.
All well and good for the people who have lived in the area for years. I agree there's good and bad in every suburb. Impossible to find a comma or full stop there, or indeed any punctuation.
Sorry for your loss
Places to avoid in Newcastle:
Newcastle
Lived in Mayfield since 2006. It's grown up a lot
Good video , gives some insight into the demographics. Good to due a breakdown of the top 10 places.
Thanks for this movie. Trying to move in to Newcastle soon.
Save yourself a headache... Don't... It's horrible.
Chatea Lea way was the tamest street in Hamo South, still the ghetto, but not as bad as others around it. Or at least it wasn’t when I was growing up in there
My family was from Caves Beach - I’ve lived in America a lot of my life - I miss caves especially in the 80s & 90s
I lived in Caves Beach in 1997. I was 19, I loved it
Thank you for the video! That helps to save time to choose a place to live in Newcastle

Nah the whole area is uninhabitable and just like the dark place where the hyenas live in The Lion King. Tell all your friends, don't come here 😂
Yeah what he said, Newcastle, it's awful, crack addicts everywhere, really cold and there's nothing to do.. The beaches suck, can't find a policeman anywhere, no education standards & you'll probably drown inside a bullshark if you're not careful.

I went to Central Coast the suburb was a zombie apocalypse it was supposed to be the posh bit
Hahaha - that's the street I grew up in - chatea lea way.

Looks placid to me.
I grew up in Campbelltown.

Born in Liverpool. Definitely more rough than Newcastle.
I also grew up in Campbelltown. It was rough and most suburbs around it. Loved it when we moved to newcastle “gods country “
big shout out to me old Novacastrian mates Charles and William Town🤚🤚
Neither are in Newcastle you are mixing them up with Toppa and Adams Town
I was pretty accurate until you mentioned Fennell Bay, sure its git some problems but i've never heard of it being known for hig DV rates. I think you it confused with Bolton point which is notorious for those problems. Lol
My ex wife and ex girlfriend are in Newy, good enough reason to stay away, but some legends of mates there.
Yes windale No.1
I didnt make it to Terrace. Would have been interesting
You got that right wouldn't even think about living in Windale and the only reason you would want to live there is if you wanna be a no hoper bludger or druggie cause that is all it's good for

Talking about Newcastle, I remember the legendary footballer Alan Shearer 👍, greeting from Tanzania🇹🇿
Lol

one day i will come there and see my lover again
It honesty tho it’s very much possible to be shot stabbed or robbed in Newcastle, just don’t fuck around
A bit behind the times. Merewether is a high crime rate suburb now.
I hate Newcastle as I gotta work in the area from Sydney and now know it better than Sydney but still wouldn’t live up there
Beware of the Windale Shitter!
You need to get out and see mayfield now lol … can you afford to buy there - a simple yes or no will suffice lol

That is definitely a problem in the Williamtown area. Has the govt fixed it yet?
I agree totally its a dangerous place so please go back or stay in Sydney.
@@trailrider759 Can we have that in English, champ?
What a load of crap
@@craigirving4100 Great riposte there, champ. Look up NSW Cancer Clusters and knock yourself out 😉

I thought Sydney is the only city in NSW
Hamilton south should be number 1.
A great place as is Bar Beach, Merewether, Junction. So many great suburbs in this town. Value for money would be a little further west.
I think you should BE the danger.. That's how you avoid becoming a victim. 😀
Uppa windale
Newcastle is called the bogan city of Australia
Ummm. You ever been to Geelong
Nah. That's Taree.
In the 1950s. Best city ever now.
@@lr5450hmmm yeah. No bogans in newcastle since the 50s. Only world's best practice hipsters now! 😅
Haha chatter Lee way

Yeah Sydney people, avoid Newcastle, don't come here...go to Port Mac instead..

Only town where a handful of east end bohos dictate what can and cant happen in the city.
