If you're being tortured physically then your soul lives on. that's everlasting life and isn't the only way to everlasting life through Jesus. It makes much more sense. Your life just being snuffed away forever is torture in itself. Again, that's your life story truly ending.

Without free will and repentance, the devils won't leave. A soul needs to want God's mercy. You can't live a double life, a life of sin and Jesus at the same time. You need to change. Jesus is not a game you can play with, hold hands with devil and God at the same time. Choose 1.
