Good teaching moment with the last two colonies. Had my first badly mated queen this year and saw exactly what you did with the raised cells. Wish I would have thought to simply combine with another strong hive. Thanks for the sharing - always more to learn.
Hello it does not matter it the video is long or short but it is always good to take a trip around the Bee yard , glad to see your yard is building back up nicely . I think you have them by the horns an got it going on. All these years I keep saying I am going to start my own grafting an I have everything to do it but just have not done it. It is so hard to find good queens an doing splits this year I had the same problem as I did I think it was maybe four or five years ago had trouble getting the queens back from her mating flight but it is just a thing an somehow I end up getting it all worked out it the long run an deal with it . Thanks for the trip around your Bee yard . Thanks
Sweet first frame of brood! 7 inches of rain over 8 days causing our dearth. Swarming hard to control. Any thoughts on adding OA glycerin pads with the second super Brad? Thank you.
Always thought it was funny how much different it is between the South and the North it's so hot down here the devil's moved away and you're still talking about the cold
🇺🇦💛💙🇨🇦 🙋 I did the same work in my apiary when I had the same problems. I think you're doing everything right. Thank you for the video.
Your solution with the last two boxes was a great solution IMO, early enough, big enough, prolly still get some late season honey from them.

Excellent video Brad.
Busy time of year for you, thanks for taking the extra time to continue to share your videos.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching, Brian!
Nice nucs.👍
Thanks for the visit
I like how a crow started squawking right as you squished the queen. I’m sure he came over to clean up the carcass 😢
I hadn't noticed. Thanks for pointing that out!
I look at my own videos and can’t believe some of the background noises that I didn’t notice

Great video. It has a lot of great tips.
Brad you have enough brood that it would be worth putting a zombie hive in them with the other hive.
This post is analogous to watching a brain surgeon operates as he describes the process! Cheers!

Thanks, Mike. I really know nothing about OA Glycerin pads, sorry.
